Unpopular opinion: body count does matter, but only if you plan on sleeping with that person?

While people usually say this when talking about how guys will judge girls with a high body count and call them hoes and stuff I always think of it in a different way. I don’t think it’s okay to judge someone who you don’t plan on potentially sleeping with based on their body count. Body counts aren’t other ppls buisness and having a high one doesn’t make you a hoe guy or girl. But as a girl I wouldn’t want to sleep with a guy who’s had sex with a lot of girls. The only way I’d do that is if we both got tested together first. people who have a high body count tend to be less careful/picky with who they sleep with which means they have a higher chance of having STDs, and I really especially don’t want to catch something like herpes that never goes away, so I’d understand if a guy didn’t want a girl with a high body count for this reason.

Having a body count is more than just sex - I’ve never met a sexually liberal woman who wasn’t morally corrupt - sex without responsibility corrupts not only your sex life but every other area of your life too - it even corrupts your relationship with God and your relationship with yourself too

It matters if u plan on sleeping with that person. I don’t prefer a guy with a high body count cause I don’t wanna increase my risk of STDs, so if I wanted to have sex with a guy with like an 8+ body count ( I’m not that old but by time I start doing that stuff I’ll be 18 or 19 so it shouldn’t be too high anyway) I’d have to get tested. Also I’d show that we see sex a different way as I see it as only something for actually relationships and not hookups and stuff. Like u said I don’t judge other people but It does matter to me

Most young guys plan to sleep with most young girls, so that's why they judge them if they have a high body count. Most young guys are not 'chads' and would settle for any decent-looking girl, provided that she is loyal and trustworthy.
