Guy friend kissed me and fingered me? Did he use me or does he actually like me?

my guy friend and i actually had sex like a year ago but i didn't know him that well so it didn't matter.

a year after spending time with each other as coworkers and friends (we didn't do anything sexual) he ended up kissing me and then he asked if it was gonna be awkward. i said no and then took my shirt off. he asked if i was sure about this and i said yeah. we didn't have a condom so he just kept kissing me and he started fingering me.
