Is the concept of a "born-again virgin" kind of dumb?

I mean the whole point of virginity in females is that it's a one-time gig. You can't take it back and just magically regain your virginity. Is the concept of "born-again virgin" kind of bizarre?
To answer this images questions-- no, it isnt, and yes, apparently it is. Duh.

  • You are correct, but many women do not find their first time satisfying. Could have been rushed, immature partner, painful, under the influence, etc. I would feel honored if a woman told me she was renewed by sex with me. The words in the image are rhetoric, not to be read literally.

  • I think its nonsense. you're either a virgin or you're not. And like a balloon... virginity... one prick and its gone lol

  • Sure you can get it back. Here is the product that makes you whole again. Though if you judge by the girl's posts/question on here, they just can't wait to lose their virginity to any Tom, Dick, or Harry. So why would they want it back? Would it be to lose it time and again?

    • Haha it seems they have makeup for everything 😅 this encourages girls to be liars

    • @ChocoBrownieMonster It isn't a real product, man. It's a joke.

    • In the UK this product exists its called vagisil because some girls have sex a lot and are prescribed it at sexual health clinics. If you want to know which girls are sexually active just attend a sexual health clinic at 8:30am 😂

  • This was more said years ago as a joke by women that hadn't had sex in a long time... Like "Damn it's been so long since had sex, I'm like a born again virgin"... People these days just take everything too literal, and apparently don't have a sense of humor anymore...

    • I didn't know that.

    • @Jamie05rhs well that's only time I've heard it anyways...

  • I get what other answerers are saying and agree but if it's helping some girls overcome a mental health problem is it really that bad?

    • I mean, I would just say it's far more logical to just choose better ways of coping than lying to yourself, if that's their situation.

  • The whole point about virginity is never having a sexual relationship lol born-again virgin sounds like an oxymoron to me 🤷

    • It is.

  • No it isn't because you already know what sex feels like and is a permanent memory. Well if you woke up with amnesia you could say you're a virgin.

  • It's ABSOLUTELY dumb.

  • As a virgin myself I guess people want the possibility to start over to "repair the mistakes" they have done... but unless they have been raped for them to scientifically lose their virginity, i think people shouldn't really consider themselves"virgins" after they had sex many times.. that is the whole point of being a virgin..

    • Well yes if you're forcibly raped that's different obviously, so I wouldn't even consider a girl to be a non-virgin in that scenario. It's still not something you would need to be "born again" in.

  • Yes its dumb

  • Its moronic, but then again so is any other virginity 'loophole' most of the issues around virginity have to do with 'purity' religious or otherwise. Trying to argue that you've only done anal or only given hand jobs is idiotic

    • Being a virgin is basically saying they never had sex. Anal and oral is still having sex in my book. Virgins just like to think they are still virgins and wholesome and that the guys think she is too. What a joke!

    • I agree.

  • Not at all. Everyone as the option to start over. You are not obligated by all but a few past choices. Sex isn't one of them.

    • Well... no, you don't. The thing about virginity is that when it's gone, it's gone. You can't re-see a movie for the first time or re-have your first drink of alcohol. "First" means just that.

    • A fair opposing opinion. But if you choose to believe you can re-make yourself (happens all the time with "saved" Christians), you can.

    • Yes, sure, except that Christianity is a state of mind. It's a system of belief. Virginity isn't a belief-- it's an experience. A lived experience. And like all lived experiences, you have a first time with it. You can't redo a first time, with anything.

  • Any born again thing is stupid

  • It's not really a thing. Once it's gone it's gone

  • Kind of dumb? its completely retarded.

  • You're only a virgin if you're a virgin. Once lost, that can't ever be regained again.

However, there is such a thing as returning to celibacy. It won't make a difference to me personally, because you've still done what you've done. But I do respect women who choose to take this route.

  • Never heard of it but it sounds ridiculous
Who's coming up with all this shite 🤣

    • Girls who realize they made a poor choice the first time around.

  • Not at all.

    • How do you figure that?

  • I have no idea what the thing means.

  • impossible

but for liberals anything but the truth is possible

    • Uh... okay

    • you have a better answer?

  • i think its dumb since you can't redo something that has already been done

    • Quite.
