2. What does your statement have to do with sexuality? You placed your question under the topic "Sexuality", yet it has strictly no relation to it.

What's less ok is that similar people tend to like similar people, and you could easily find yourself liking people who don't like the kind of people you are.
What if you are short and bald, but the kind of people you like want a tall, long-haired person for a partner?
Yes but getting the feedback helps you to know your standing which is useful information.
Also it feels nice when people tell you that you are pretty.
