I used to work out late at night, but only because I tend to be cognitively brighter and more creative under the night-sky and stayed up until sunrise. However, I recently switched my routine around and I hit the gym first thing in the morning, and I don't eat before my workout to increase insulin sensitivity. In addition, there is nothing better than higher cardiovascular activity to flush toxins out of your system by significantly increasing blood flow to the muscles and the brain. It does the trick for me every single time! And as another counter-argument for exercise during the night, it's worth considering that, especially with weight lifting, exercise activates the adrenal glands to produce neurochemicals such as norepinephrine and cortisol that potentially keep you awake if you exercise right before bed. Now, this doesn't really affect everyone equally, but it can affect the quality of your sleep so try to feel what works best.
I hate going to the gym anf just recently cancelled my gym membership. I go running outside usually in the morning and work out treadmill, yoga in the evenings at home

I always liked working out in the morning too, because it gets the day off to a good start.
