  • No, because WORDS MEAN THINGS, and "pedophile" means "having a sexual attraction to PRE-pubescent children." 15 and 16 year old girls are NOT pre-pubescent (except in very rare cases with medical conditions) - that generally means children of 12 and under, and in the real world, it almost always means children 10 and under.

    Now, we can discuss whether 15 and 16-year-old girls should be having sex with men in their 50s - that's a topic worthy of discussion - but when you use an inflammatory word like "pedophile" blatantly incorrectly for the purpose of loading the question in a particular direction, then you probably aren't looking for a discussion, but rather to preach, and I have no interest in sermons.

  • Yes most normal people would consider a man who almost reached the retirement age having sex with a minor a pedophile and I think if you look up the word pedophile that's pretty much the definition. Would I consider an 18 year old boy having sex with a 16 year old girl? Probably not. Still illegal but not wrong in my head. I was under 18 having sex with a guy above 18 but definitely under 50!!!

  • Nope. God gave women ovulation on their first period, becase that's when they are ready for sex. So I'm pretty sure most women have their first period about 13 or 14 years old, but some get it as early as 9 years old. If God didn't want them having sex, why would he make them ovulate that much earlier than the man-made "age of consent"? That would be a waste of good eggs. :).
