If Your Friend Asked To Photograph You In Your Underwear... How Would You Respond?

I was primary a videographer rather than a photographer, but I can take some pretty good pictures, and so I was asked to take pictures of a friend, and then she showed them around and a few other friends asked for some, and for a while, I had access to a friend's studio (a warehouse building that he'd turned into one) and I took various pictures, including boudoir sets for some women. It was a fun side business until I lost access to the studio (my friend got laid off and couldn't keep it).

Since then, I've done a few sessions for BDSM friends, and I've had many of them online and got pretty good reviews from them. Again, I don't really consider myself a professional photographer - perhaps a gifted amateur. I enjoy making the girl look great in the photo, and using the lighting and angle and composition to do so - and people have been very happy with the results, and even I have to say that many of them looked really good.

If we are close, I would not mind it, except without my face. I don't want the pictures to be used against me potentially. For example, if we are friends online or she is just curious, I would not mind her having picture to see what I would look like with less clothes.

It does not bother me because, if we ever went to a pool or to the beach together, she would be able to see me with a relatively similar amount of clothes so I'm not uncomfortable with the idea.

No nudes though. That's reserved for in person only, no picture and you must be even closer to me. Pretty much partner only.

In underwear picture is not normal, but with clothes on or with bikini at the beach or pool is normal.

Male friend photographer- Probably would have to be bribed some money to do it lol

Just ask why. And if the reason makes you uncomfortable, then don't.
I personally would help a friend out, if he or she asked. Asking a question like that puts them in a vulnerable spot, so at the very least, don't be rude or belittle them for asking if you want to remain friends. If the reason for the picture was a way of flirting to me, and I was not interested in said person, then I would be honest and say no because it makes me uncomfortable.

I would be damn u comfortable! I am practising self love and I am developing the idea of loving my body! But, if my friend will ask me to send me pics of me in my underwear, I would be damn uncomfortable! That is my personal opinion, it can depend on majority of people!

I will skip over the fact that I am a middle-aged, over-weight man. I would agree, but hiding the semi-erection might be a bit of an issue. I would instruct her to treat me like a mannequin, but with love: Effectively, I would allow her to move me into the desired position, with the desired amount of clothing.
As a bonus, I would allow her to remove the underwear and take a few snapshots in the nude. Once again, she has full access to my body.

It depends what for. Like I have friends who are photographers that I wouldn't mind doing it if it's for a project or something, in exchange for a couple promo pics for my band. If they aren't able to give me a legitimate sounding reason I'd probably have to pass 😂
