Your question is can’t be answered objectively. Too many is a subjective term. Some people would say one is too many. And others would say there’s no number. The answer is who cares? It’s no ones business but you’re own. I’ve had a lot of sexual partners both male and female and each was different and unique. Some were shitty and others were amazing. But it’s like going to a buffet, so many choices and only one plate.

First, age would be a huge factor. How many is too many for a thirteen year old child? One is too many. How many is too many for a 21 year old? Maybe four or five. Would four or five be too many for someone who is 40 years old? You get the point, I'm sure.

All sex feels good and if a cute lady knocked on my bedroom door now to offer me a one night stand, I might not turn her down. However, my goal is a monogamous, long term relationship. If I have sex with a lady, I want to know that I am not just going to be #147 on an ever expanding list. I want to have a realistic expectation that I will be #last on her list.

So, it isn't the number per se but what it suggests about her attitude towards sex: is it a fun recreational activity or is it reserved for the expression of love in a committed relationship. If she has had four partners already this year, she is not looking for a relationship. If she has had four partners in the last 10 years, she is a much better candidate for a ltr.

I can usually discern her attitude without asking her number, so I never ask. If she volunteers that information, I'll listen. I don't volunteer my number but if she asks, I'll tell her honestly.

It is kinda related to age. Would be kinda weird to most people if a person at 18 has slept with 53 people. But as age goes on that number starts seeming normal. So you could say there is sexual partners by an age that would be too many. Also sleeping with more and more people on increases that % of an Std. So realistically there is some limit. However i don't think it would factor into my thoughts on them unless if they did get a Std.
