  • "Switching" is the extra hip movement, right? A shifting of their hips; the swivel from side to side that makes their round bottoms bounce? That boom boom boom thing.

    Here's my guess.
    I think it's a deliberate thing because I see quite a few who don't "switch" (sachet) at all.
    Because of the way they are built, woman have the natural ability to swivel. It's easy for them but they don't all do it. Some don't want to and some just never learned the knack. Most can turn it on or off. Some do it virtually all the time. It becomes automatic for girly girl-types because they practice for years to be cute and sexy. They understand the power of their bodies and how to maximize their physical abilities. Women who "switch" all the time can exaggerate it even more when they want to.
    Wearing heels helps. In fact, it might not be possible NOT to "switch" when wearing heels. That might be a main reason for heals in the first place. Proper "switching" is also a matter of having good posture and placing one foot directly in front of the other when walking. It's more like strutting.

    It's a uniquely feminine thing that's made possible by female architecture. The ability of women to swivel their hips is a major reason why they are so delightful to look at. Aside from the way they walk, think of the way they dance. "Shake it, baby, shake!"

I would guess it's natural for women who have a "booty" but would need to be exaggerated if have a little less back there. Just thinking if you've got something sweet that'll move, it'll move... if you don't, you'd have to make it do so. NOTE: I love butts... variety too from tight little ones to full out "booty".

  • That undulating sashay comes from walking one foot in front of the other, or even crossing over, as if there was a rope and you were stepping your right foot on the left side and your left foot on the right side of the rope. It's definitely exaggerated for effect, and runway models are taught to walk that way for a reason.

    Now, do many woman walk that way to a lesser degree naturally? Yes, I think so, but I also know for sure that many exaggerate it on purpose, to get attention. It's just one of many tools in the toolbag to get attention from men and to compete against other women.

  • Honestly, when I see it I can't think about anything at all except the likely firmness I'm missing out on. But now that you mention it I suspect it's exaggerated but becomes habit. Sort of like how I used to try to make a habit of dotting my i's with x's instead of dots, and writing my lowercase t's upside down. It eventually became habit but was intentional first.
