What is the worst thing you ever did to someone you love?

Probably just break up because the relationship wasn't working, and broke their heart as a result. I'm not prone to saying hurtful things or low blows in the heat of the moment just because I know how much those words can utterly destroy a person and stay with them forever. The problem is exacerbated when you're close to someone, you know all their insecurities and sensitive buttons, and can truly take them down with precision with that knowledge, so it's all the more important not to let your emotions get too much the better of you in those moments.
