How true is this... When women suffer abuse, there is an uproar, riots, protesting. When men suffer abuse, Nothing?

I feel like its true. One only has to look at the Amber Heard case as an example. She needed only make the accusation against Depp and his life is destroyed, and she is seen as a hero.. When in reality her entire narrative was stolen from a story her assistant told her about an ex. It took hundreds of pieces of evidence, audio recordings, videos, and witness statements to give him a voice, and even then he is still fighting while she is playing the victim.

I will make this personal too.. As a man i have been ridiculed because i suffered domestic violence at the hands of my ex. She was controlling, and violent, i have the scars on my face to prove it. When i reported it, i was threatened with jail time.. I was asked what i did to deserve it.. I was called weak, a pussy.. I was told that i needed to man up.. I guarantee if i were a woman this would not have happened.

Another situation.. A 12 year old boy was raped by his baby sitter.. This baby sitter got pregnant with his baby, He was made to pay, on his 18th birthday, THOUSANDS of dollars of back child support. The judge in the case said, "He was man enough to have sex, he is man enough to pay" When he was 12.. Imagine how the story would be different if it were a little girl that this happened to.. Imagine how different it would be.. The guy that got her pregnant would be unlikely to survive prison..

  • The ones who mocked and deride the male victims, are majorally, other men.

The amount of male victims who have told how their fathers and brothers belittled their experiences and wondered why they disnt fight back or believe them. And the amount of men who comment on female teachers coming after their male as tude is ts, saying how lucky those guys are and how they wish it was them, are disgusting. Its actually women who are more sensitive about male victims.

There is even an experiment where a child girl and boy where having fake wedding pictures taken in public, with a fully adult partner, the little girl had both men and women coming up to defend her, while the little joy, had men giving him high fives and smiling.

That's the reality of male victims. Women get treated more from society for being victims, because women made it so that we get treated assuch, because women had little say back in the day, due to women having little powerover their lives. Fact.

Males, while the times are getting better for male victims and some are more comfortable with speaking up, still have a lo g way to go. And it has to do with a lot of men, sexualizing the acts. They dont take it seriously and actually wish it upon themselves. ONLY when its a BJJ other man doing the raping and abuse, do men show a little more sympathy. Buy even then, they get told why they didn't fight back.

    • Also, in the experiment. Women where more likley to stand up for the young boy

    • then why was it a female officer that threatened to arrest me, and jail me when i was the one with the sliced up face.. Why was it the female doctor that asked me "what did you do to deserve this" when i went in for just under 100 stitches on my face..

    • Considering I dont know your whole story, I'm taking it with a grain of salt. If tour girl really was violent, I'm sorry and you dont deserve that. But, I dont know the whole story more the details of the doctor and police officer. Doctors for sure aren't suppost to say that kind of thing. So, I'm assuming she said, "what did you do to get the scars. Because guys coming in with bruises and scars that need stitches isn't rare, eapcuallybwhen they do silly pranks and play games that get them hurt. And like I said, I never stated that women DONT blame men and such. I SAID that men are the ones who are the majority that dont think much of issues of women violence and asilt on men.

  • You're absolutely right. Presupposing the woman is the victim with no further evidence, is nothing short of discrimination, not only against men, but also against women, as the latter is seen as helpless victims unable to take care of themselves. The case with the 12 year old boy is outrageous. The woman is a rapist, and should not be allowed to have custody of a child. The poor child should have been seized and adopted out.

    • completely agree.

  • Gotta love how some women try to blame all of this on men, which is complete bullshit. Women are absolutely every bit as much to blame for this issue as men are, and more so in some ways. The mystic nova chick here is constantly posting shit about how everything is men's fault and nothing is women's fault. It's her MO. Just ignore her shit man.

  • The world is f@#ked up! I really hate women who fabricated stories! It makes it harder for those true victims to get the help that they need. I am sorry that you didn’t get the support you needed, especially from those professional services that should have provided more support. They need to stop seeing gender, and start seeing an individual’ in need of comfort and support.

    • agreed!!

    • Notice she said it makes it harder for real victims to come forward (women), but didn't mention anything about the victims (men) of the fabrication.

  • Agreed. It’s effed up and a complete double standard.

    • Agreed. No matter the gender, if abuse happens the one abused deserves support, and the abuser deserves consequences.

  • So true!!

  • This should be in the society and politics section

    • i know i put it there but they put it in sexuality instead.

  • They don't really want equal treatment. I we treated them the way we treat men they'd be complaining about abuse

  • When a poor person is robbed of $100, it's terrible. When a billionaire loses $100, it isn't notable. Go figure.

    • your comment is irrelevant to the topic at hand.. Theft is not abuse.. its theft.
