I once lived in an old apartment with a large toilet bowl with an open front, and being half asleep and dizzy waking up in the morning, I needed something too keep me from falling over and hurting my semicontiouse self while bending over too aim my uncooperative morning wood inside the toilet bowl instead of everywhere else. Kind of like a skinny guy in a comic relief scene of a movie trying too control a large caliber automatic chain gun except for actually being the skinny guy. The opening in front of the ancient seat indicated that this was a man's toilet designed and built for men and leaning forward could clear the front end to with the bowl and seat extra long too ensure that just getting my tip pointed below the bowl line was enough too ensure myself and the floor remains dry despite a stream with far greater pressure than a super soaker water gun hitting the 2 and 3 quarters gallons (another great innovation of the early 20th. century, no low flow watersaving pieces of garbage in the bathroom) of water "not being displaced too splash all over me" and just flush and hit the snooze button for another 30 min. nap before getting showed and dressed. I miss that toilet because leaning against the wall while discharging my weopon does my back no favors.

Geez. Moving into the blush zone, are we? See? Girls can ask questions like this and get away with it. If I asked a rough equivalent it would be creepy city. OK: I always use a public urinal because it is well suited to the purpose.
However...
Whether we see them or not, guys often get fine stream-ettes. They can randomly go anywhere and change with pressure. That's why the bathroom will smell like pee even if we think we are being careful. So I sit, especially if I'm in someone else's bathroom.

My man does at home. He believes this to be respectful to me. He doesn't believe men should stand to pee at home since there is a chance of dripping and who wants their toilet the toilet mat covered in pee and smelling like it. And he says if you have girls or a lady living with you then men should definitely sit to make certain they dont ever accidentally leave pee on the toilet. He says it rude and no lady should sit on a mans pee.

Ofcourse they can better answer it but i dont think they do that tbh n neither have i heard or seen lol plus they dont really need to sit for peeing
And one of the reasons i believe they dont sit is whenever i went in guys toilet i saw pee drops all over the seat

I think guys sitting and peeing is a rarity. But I agree cleanliness wise it's better to sit and pee. I taught my younger son to sit and pee. Hope he follows that through his adulthood.

I had a friend who asked everyone to sit down when they pee because micro droplets of pee get into the air and eventually settle on countertop and toothbrushes. I guess I can see it like that anyway I honored his wishes. I was inside his house afterall.

Pretty often, if there's not a urinal I'll probably sit. Well of course anytime I pee out side I stand of corse.

I hear guys in the next stall all the time that stand to pee then sit to take a shit, if your gonna do both why not just sit for both? It almost pisses me off. It seems to me that most guys think that they have to stand to pee like they're less of a man if they dont.

It's just stupid, how do guys think they have to stand to pee?

I almost always stand, sitting down is silly really. It's more work to sit down basically. There is no need to squat like women do when they pee.

I might sit sometimes if she is lying down but even then I could just stand over her.

In short I stand.

Oddly enough my roommate is pretty anal and has come up with the word pee splatter. Now I've witnessed this pee splatter and it's practically invisible if not invisible but just so i don't have to hear him talk about it or blame me for it, I sit down when I pee at my roommates house every time i per there with a sheet of toilet paper to dab it off :)

At home, I do it all the time. At a restaurant or whatever, I stand and use the urinals. If there isn"t a urinal there, I crouch down as low as possible over the toilet without touching it.
