Superb Opinion

  • Apparently this is actually a well-known phenomenon, that men who are gay in particular change into heterosexuals with extreme rarity. Douglas Murray was talking about this with Brett Weinstein, and evolutionary biologist.

This is not to say, that a gay man can't fall in love and be happy with a woman. Or a lesbian can't fall in love and be happy with a man. There are examples of this, where they voluntarily chose it and they were happy. But it is rare. In both cases, they said that they didn't love the opposite sex, they just loved and were sexually attracted to their spouse

  • A bisexual man could become heterosexual, yes, as that's about preference of a certain lifestyle, and people sometimes don't have their sexuality all that clear so they explore different options. A lot of bisexuals also always were more physically attracted to one of the two genders, so it's not as if they were giving up on much

  • There is no such thing as shifting from a sexual orientation to another.
You don't become heterosexual after being gay.
You are just bisexual then and will remain bisexual even if you're currently in a relationship with a female it doesn't mean your straight and vis versa.
And yea I think bisexual people will always have the thought cross their mind.
But let's be honest even heterosexuals think about other people sexually sometimes too.

  • If you are bi, that means you are into both men and women... you dont become heterosexual if you are in a relationship with someone of the opposite sex... you would still be bi...

  • Sexuality is fluid, it can change throughout your life. Although I have never heard of it going from Bi to straight I don't see why it couldn't.

  • some people, guys and gals, can have their hetero desires switch to homo desires, and vice versa... and there are others who love and have sex with their opposite sex partners, but who like to engage in a gay fling sometimes... there are people of all types and mindsets, that can change at any time...

  • A relationship is a commitment to a person.

  • Loads of closet gay people in the past have tried to live in a heterosexual relationship mainly to avoid persecution or out of feeling they had to conform to a specific lifestyle.
It can still happen today mainly down to location or trying to conform to expectations from other family members or friends.

  • If he is bisexual he can be with any sex he wants, if he is homosexual he is always going to love men.

  • I say it might be possible. But I think there will always be thoughts to the life you once knew but some will take well to it while others will simply struggle to much on the change. It all depends on the person

  • All evidence is that sexual orientation is unchangeable. Even men with a strong incentive to avoid homosexual relationships are unable to abstain. There are many famous examples of anti-gay Republican politicians who were outed.

  • Wowwgirl what did i tell you about them drugs! Okay well, umm heterosexual wouldn't unless if there living a place or time when it was illegal to be gay but even then it was just cover no feelings like that. Then Bi could love a women and sure he could miss what men are like. Since men and women are different in so many ways especially sexually.

  • i'm sure my father has some male booty lust in him. if he wasn't born before the gay bang then he could've chosen a different path

  • I'm bi, and I'm not sure it's possible.. bisexuality and monogamy like magnets that push apart from each other.

  • Bi men are capable of committing to a woman and not cheating same as Bi women are

    • 100% :)

  • That would totally be up to him I mean a heterosexual can go their whole life and then become gay so I guess it could go the other way

  • A family friend of mine recently came out as heterosexual. He turned his life around and claims he wants to marry a woman. He used to be identify as a gay man and he was extremely feminine.

  • Logic suggests that a homosexual man could not be in a relationship with a female successfully.

    • Thank you

  • no.. Its why conversion therapy does not work.

  • that makes no sense.

    • He falls in love with a girl, would he miss being with guys

  • I think a bisexual man could have a relationship with a woman but he would still feel attracted by both genders while the gay guy could never do that

  • yes.

  • It's possible. Sometimes i ponder if not all gays are gay just like not all bi's are bi and not all straights are straight. It depends. Maybe he should never lie about his old life. But otherwise, maybe he's just bi. I dunno :P *shrugs*
