Can you imagine a society with no gender and contact less reproduction? Near future maybe?

If we take out the reproductive systems of humans like maybe the balls. (Vice versa for females ofcourse, the ovaries secreting the hormones) no testosterone and sex drive and such lame shit to deal with and just reproduce the smart way in machines/incubators (far more capable ones ofcourse which can take care of when it's just a zygot (a single cell)) any way gonna (I wish, as I believe it would make things easier maybe) happen in the near future ig.. what do u think about a sexless world.. (ya, I mean gender less)
As the need for direct reproduction would no longer be there.. might be a more fun world to live in what do u think? As lesser instinctively driven human would be there...
Maybe genetical engineering could sweep in and eliminate most of instinctive behaviours of humans.. remaining mainly the intellect and related things...

I actually, am writting this in accordance with to a discussion (no so much of one, but for the sake of the argument) with a lady who was like men shouldn't think with thier dick and more with thier minds so...

And ya, if this all aids with growth too much, (but why does that matter wouldn't our brain other than the parts needed for reproduction and all that only mainly not develop and other things do?) Then just, remove it after completing puberty

Would love to hear antibodies and diverse views.. anything is good thanks!! 😁😁🙂

Also, u can mention cool not so obvious insightful changes it might bring to society as a whole

Superb Opinion

  • Can't imagine society as a whole, but i can imagine myself.

I have the belief: don't just be alive, but live life.

To me, life without sex is like living in hell without the fire.

Take away the desire, the emotions, the X factors that make life sexually interactive. We'll be left with boring existence of work and stress; and if we take away food as well and replace with pills, then fuck it. I rather die.

    • Well, mostly before this happens we would have universal income and and most of AI doing all that jobs that require repetition and we would have to not really bother with doing much of many things that are rather redundant and we don't do out of our self growth needs like we just concentrate on doing just art work without bothering much with any sort of monetization of it... And basically do things that actually matter/or we like..

    • LOL! What an idealistic person you are. Until mankind do away with wealth and are willing to share the goodness of life, the working class will always exist to support the "upper" class. And if equalisation should finally happens, and AI take over all the mundane works, what a waste not to engage in the best art of all... lovemaking 😄😄😄

  • External reproduction would be one thing, but removing the organs would be removing the drives, and if you did, you'd get one generation. Maybe two. Then the species would go extinct. You don't get intellect when you take away instinct, you get hedonism.

    • Hedonism seems to be the opposite of what u r trying to say.. based on a quick look on Google.. I. e, only pleasure and pain motivates us is what they say.. So, we wouldn't be reproducing it would be machines doing that for us.. if u didn't read the whole thing

  • This sounds like a waste of money tbh. Why would people opt to get their reproductive organs removed?

I mean I guess it would be easier for the woman since she won't have to deal with pregnancy. But besides that I don't see any other reason to get them removed.

    • It would help in looking at things more objectively and spending more time on intellect then spent on finding a mate or things related.. it's not just the physical biological difference but the the hormonal resulting in change in the way of thinking processing things itself

    • Yeah... I don't think a lot of people are going to want to pay to think things more objectively and spend less time on finding a mate. Which by the way kind of defeats the purpose of your initial point of reproduction being easier and more efficient. By doing this you might actually cause humans to reproduce significantly less. Well for those that actually choose to have the operation. But right now you're not really offering a good selling point. I'm actually starting to picture less people wanting this now.

    • by the way, checkout population inversion and the causes of it... Plus, why does that defeat the purpose of my initial point tho?

    • Show All
  • i can not

    • Why? 😁 Would u not think it would be better?
