Guys & top of head kisses?

My boyfriend often gives me kisses at the top of my head, while i’m working or dozing off, cooking just at random times.
He’s the first guy that ever do this. Does it mean differently when your man kiss you at the top of your head?

When I receive a kiss on the forehead or on the top of my head, I see it as diffrent than a kiss on the lips as it's more so of a sweet gesture full of love and care - it isn't filled with any form of lust.

I do forehead kisses. It's convenient when she's shorter than me and it expresses care and protection in my mind. Top of the head kisses I assume are similar.
