I am the type if I have sex with a girl I want to keep seeing her more but most girls I hook up with just seem to just want FWB’s? Are relationships a thing of the past?

Girls just have hookups so they don't get heartbroken all the time, but when they do start to feel something they want to hold onto that guy even tho they haven't bothered to get to know him outside of sex. That's how it is now. They'll change when they realise FWBs are not going to be anything else.

Yea it’s just crazy that girls today seem to just settle for FWB’s which FWB’s isn’t bad if the intentions are to get to know that person more , but if they are FWB’s while screwing other guys as well then to me that is just dirty , I don’t want to fuck a girl that just got laid by another guy 2 nights prior to having sex with me, to me that’s a huge turn off considering you feel like you are just being compared and used and not only that what about STD’s? it’s like people don’t give 2 shits about them anymore and whatever happened to AIDS? No not fat single moms, but good looking married Moms that lie about being married that like to have sex and cheat on their husbands lol. the difference between friends with benefits and Open Relationship? friends with benefits is basically just having sex with someone that you consider a good friend with No strings attached, not rushing into a commitment. Open to meeting others and weighing your options , you pretty much are free to do what you want without answering to a committed partner , an open relationship is 2 people committed to each other that allow each other to go screw other people with the intentions of not breaking the commitment of love between you both , they are just accepting of sex with others as long as feelings don’t come into play and try to jeopardize their relationship. To me an open relationship is a fucked up thing and usually never works out because someone eventually gets feelings for 1 of their sex partners and then the relationship ends. FWB’s is a 50/50 chance that usually ends bad as well unless both decide to stay together and be committed , but it usually ends when the 1 friend finds someone else while the other just wants to be with them. Which has happened to me , the girl I was FWB’s with was the girl I should of committed to but I was so wrapped up in meeting other girls and having fun that she finally gave up on me and met someone else , it kicked me right in the ass and I thought to myself what a dumb ass I was, She was the one that got away and I kick myself in the ass still to this day about it

so for you the difference is the "commitment? for me the difference is actually exclusivity. i think friends with benefits is "exclusivity" ithout commitment. open relationship is commitment without exclusivity. i also think open relationships fuck up most people. only very few have the psychological setup for that.

Yea , if I I am in a committed relationship with someone I love and care for I couldn’t be happy knowing she is getting screwed by another guy , and I couldn’t be in a relationship with girl that was ok with me banging other girls , If a relationship ever got to that point I would. Just end it considering that would be my answer that she wasn’t in love with me anymore , what would be the point of being in a relationship with someone that needed others to fulfill them? Go your separate ways and find someone that wants to stand by your side and be faithful. As for FWB’s that only occurs when I meet a girl that doesn’t want to rush into a relationship , most the time either she just got out of one or I did vice versa , Most girls I became FWB’s with were ones that said they were going through a divorce and didn’t want to settle right away , but then later on find out they weren’t going Through a divorce they just weren’t fulfilled in their marriage.

some people are ok with sharing love with more than one person. for some people, exclusivity is nonsensical, cause love is limitless. it's not "spent" with loving one person. but yeah :D i do not have that opinion either xD

Yea I can’t just hook up with a girl and act like nothing happened , But most girls today just want a hook up , they automatically assume that it was just a hook up , If I meet a beautiful girl and we hit it off and we end up making out , my intentions are to see her more with hopes we get to know each other more and more , so for me to get to that point of locking lips with her and getting lost in her eyes and having her in my arms should be the indicator of letting her know that I like her a lot but sadly to say most girls these days just assume a guy is looking for a piece of ass and just someone to get off on , I guess I am old school. That's a question to me too. I don't understand Casual Relationship or "situationship". Basically, it's like people are just too lazy to pursue and keep building the bond.
