Can a woman be the dominant one in a heterosexual relationship?

I always thought she could or at least be at par with the man in the relationship but then I was on a group call and my friend said "Tbh, once you get in a relationship with a boy then you're automatically the bottom" and I was just confused... I guess I might as well be gay then because my personality is 100% me and pretty god damn masculine so oh well.

Is being dominant vs submissive really how people are finding out their sexuality now days? Can a women top a man? I know about fem dom but I mean in a natural way not in some kink way.. if you know what I mean?

  • If you mean like, put a dick/dildo inside someone, the only way a girl can do that in a heterosexual relationship is with a strap on. Which honestly plenty of hetero couples do.

If you mean just dominant female and submissive male, then bro that’s literally anything. Like anyone telling you otherwise just set on gender roles of how women have to be submissive in all cases. Certain sex positions give more power to the woman than others, but obviously not all sex has to be penetrative.

And if you do like girls, well honestly that’s great too. If you are more traditionally masculine, awesome. Do what makes you comfortable and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Just be sure to keep things safe sane and consensual lol

  • Of course, most dominant women are hetero.
I'm always dominant in all of my relationships, especially in sex.

  • Yes, of course you can be the dominant one, but you'll need to find a submissive, feminine guy or he'll tell you to fuck off in no time.

There is only room for one dominant personality in a relationship. Men are naturally dominant, especially the masculine ones that make women's panties wet. If you expect to have a masculine guy then no, you cannot be the dominant one in the relationship.

You cannot have it both ways. Welcome to reality.

  • Being dominant doesn't mean "on top". It's a matter of who is leading. Like in dancing, the man leads. He has the dominant position. A woman can be on the bottom and still be dominant so long as she is in control and she is leading. Nothing to do with physical strength, but attitude.
Outside of sex, women are far more frequently dominant, as a lot of men just do whatever the woman wants. "Happy Wife Happy Life"

  • Any man who's been in a relationship will tell you on the surface they look like they are in charge but the woman certainly wears the trousers!

  • If he's a bitch, yeah.

  • Yes, absolutely.
And there are many hetero guys who are or like to be submissive.

  • Sure it's possible

  • your friend was misinformed. there are plenty of dom women who are completely hetero. the term dominatrix reffers to a kinkier version of this (usually but not always hetero).

  • I dominate

  • kink and fetish is something, being natural is totally another

  • I prefer it when women are naturally dominant.
