To some degree, but being attracted to them yourself would obviously be helpful to make that determination, though different people like different things.

I might be able to tell you that a 10 was an attractive man but Im unlikely to be able to tell you the difference between a 4 and a 7.

I do agree, but many of us (perhaps even most) don't think of men in that way. Whether it's biological or cultural or a combination of the two I don't know, but a lot of us don't, and while we theoretically could, we'd be unpracticed and likely not very good at it.

Yea you don't need to be gay or lesbian to be able to tell if someone of the same gender as you look good.

First "true man" is just a stupid platitude. A truly hetero guy can see a guy as good looking. Usually like this: I bet girls like him and: I want to hit the gym... get chest and arms like that guy.

Yes we give men props for looking good in terms of dressing, physical appearances and the car he drives. We don't dive no deeper than this because it starts to go into suspect territory for both of us.
