Is cooking an attractive quality?

This applies to anyone - do you find the ability to cook well to be an attractive quality in a potential partner?

It's nice but hardly a requirement, the most important is that both can eat what is served. So no friction and arguments about cooking. That is what causes problems. Ie picky eaters, high expectations or specialized orders etc is a good way to cause friction and frustration.

I was raised with pretty good manners and morals. If someone cooks for you, you don't get to be fussy :)

I would think so for me I love to cook. And make a lot of really good things I had. A friend working for me one day. We stoped at my house to get some tools I was hungry ,, I asked him if he was he said yes ,, i forgot what it was that I gave him ,, but he said damn this is so good ,, how you learn how to cook so good ,, I told him 1 day I got hungry lol

Cooking is such a basic skill that's it's actually a good guide to a person. If someone can't cook a simple meal it pretty much proves they're going to be incompetent at everything else.

it's an attractive quality yes but not essential... I mean i can cook very well and have been told the food i make have been tastier than some fancy restaurants they have experienced over the years...

As long as you can take care of yourself and feed yourself without ordering out all the time where good my girlfriend finds it attractive whenever I cook she gets turned on

Yeah, a really good cook gots bonus points from me. But this is for a potential long term relationship. For one night stands or casual relationships that revolve around sexuality it doesn't count.
