Do doms enjoy dominating?

I've always wondered.. as a sub, I get all kinds of genuine chills and thrills that become unstoppable physical expression
But I... gave had to be vanilla and top or entirely lead scenarios, be the giver, etc and get little to no joy out of it. In fact personally it's a turn off to have to be in control
So that makes me wonder, do dominant people actually get anything out of being in charge? Or is it kind of a sacrifice? So many q's follow this one

I think it really depends on the person, for example

If you are Dominant and Sadistic then you would enjoy being dominant
If you are Dominant and Masochist then you would not enjoy it
If you are Submissive and Sadistic then you would not enjoy it
If you are Submissive and Masochistic then you would enjoy it

These are all based on the personality traits of those people.

A Dominant person likes controlling a situation
A Sadistic person finds pleasure in hurting others
So a Dominant and Sadistic person would feel no restraint or need to hold back while dominating while also getting turned on by the situation.

A Submissive person dislikes controlling a situation and prefers having someone else control the situation
A Masochist likes to be hurt either by themselves or others
So a Submissive Masochist likely feel good having someone being in control
So a person who is Dominant but Masochistic would be awkward and uncomfortable being the leader and controlling a situation.

And a person who is Submissive but Sadistic would be conflicted by the fact they aren't in control of the situation.

So it is possible for a Dominant person to not enjoy it but it depends on their personality traits.

Yeah we do... its the power thing... I think it helps if you are not that type of person in real life.
It then becomes a fantasy... am very easy going person, people can do what they want... i have dogs and they can pretty much do what they want... i even had to get 2 office chairs as the cat kept sitting on my one! and sometimes i sleep in the spare room when there is no space... so thats the type of person i am... but when am Dom then i get this feeling of control, of getting what i want! my needs!
