How do you remove your pubic hair?

I'd love to have a really hair free pubic area. But nothing really works. When shaving after one day there are hairs again, and it is not really clean and you get pimples. I also tried hair removal cream. It is a little bit better because I get less pimples but after one day there are stubbles again. I also wanted to try Sugaring but my self-made paste didn't work that well. Any Tips or ideas? How do you do it? I am thinking about buying an IPL device but I heard that you can get cancer by using it. Does anyone have experience with IPL devices?

  • Someone once told me when I asked very same question 10 years ago that you will always get pimples in the beginning no matter what you do even waxing it's a matter of just keeping it up and eventually the skin gets used to being shaved and the pimples will stop.
I wasn't quite sure if I believed her at the time but I went for it.

I also began a routine of applying an aftershave or an alcohol based skin cleaner and then moisturizing with something natural like 100% cold pressed raw coconut or lanolin.
Over some time the breakout ceased once the skin got accustomed to the routine.
Now I'm able to shave everyday or every other day with no problems and I only have to use moisturizer if I feel like pampering myself.
I no longer need the alcohol

This reminds me you might want to try different razors I ended up being allergic to Schick razors I can't use theirs every time I use a SChick razor I break out. The only razors that I can use without fear of breakouts would be a Gillette.
I cannot use any exposable razors either no matter what the brand is I will break out
So it's a combination of cleaning the skin afterwards moisturizing and testing different razors until your body becomes accustomed to it and until you find something that works for you.

I can't wax either because I'm allergic to most waxes and for me not to be allergic to it I need to go to location that uses strictly honey and organic wax and that's hard to find most places use chemicals in their wax. I don't recommend the at home kits for waxing either because I try that one time and I ended up blistering myself down there it's not fun it's better off being left to the professionals.

So now I shave and I trim.
Oh another thing to include I don't use shaving cream I don't think it works that great.
I use a soap with lots of moisturizer
Such as Olay or dove or a natural oatmeal soap bar. Head and shoulders conditioners works great for shaving too.

It's also very important NOT to shave in the opposite direction of the hair growth follow the hair growth direction in the beginning to get your skin accustomed to being shaved. Dont Do shave from bottom up but from top down.

Once I combine being careful what direction I shaved in making sure I had a razor I wasn't allergic to finding the proper moisturizing soap or hair conditioner to shave with and taking proper steps for aftercare such as cleaning the area with some sort of aftershave routine and remoisturizing my skin has become accustomed to it and no more breakouts now it doesn't even matter what direction I shaving or how often I never break out anymore.

  • I pluck or shave the sidelines and sometimes I trim the other pubes. But I did not do anything about since these corona times.

  • Let it grow and just pick it with its root. Will last a month or more. You should wash and disinfect the skin before that though and also disinfect a 2nd time when done (aftershave will do). You will probably still get some infected spots for a couple of days ("pimples") and it may bleed more than you would expect.

  • I just let it grow a bit, but keep it tidy.

  • With an ladys electric razor. I bought a lady's razor because I thought a man's razor would be too rough on my ball sack.

  • Werewolf dick :)

I just use an electric razor over the toilet and get as much as possible. Usually lasts me 2-3 weeks.

  • I trimmed mine just this morning.

    • I did that too.😂 But I would prefer the result to be cleaner and completely hair free.

    • Wax then.

  • I don’t have to but I shave mine every day. Never have any problems.
