I mean, you can compare any two things, but the comparison isn't always useful or meaningful.

In this case, though, there are a number of similarities that could lend themselves to a relevant comparison.

Both are physical acts that require some level of physical fitness to do well.
Both are things that may be "functional" with minimal skill, but are greatly enhanced by building skill and experience and knowledge and technique.
Both typically involve more than one person, working together towards the same goal.
Both reward nuance, which can only be delivered by someone with advanced skills.
Both require being aware of your partners and sensitive to what they're doing, as you work towards a shared goal.
You can get better at both things over time IF you practice and learn (getting better isn't automatic!).

Anyway, that's what I've got off the top of my head.

Well I played sport to a decent level, always competed at the top, had fantastic stamina so could keep going for 90 minutes, was versatile and could play lots of positions, always got maximum respect from my direct opponent and always completed a game, never finishing early... so can I compare my sporting achievements to my sexual activity? ... Well it can certainly burn calories like a sport and I like getting instrument to make sounds that please me so it could be comparable to a musical instrument that way. You make a good point though - that it takes practice and involves a learning curve to be good at any of them.
