Looking like a kid is a turn off? Baby face is a no?

I saw some post and comments about a girl looking younger than her age is a turn off? Me for sample, i got a baby face, being 22 yo but looking like a 15 yo, and i do dress up like one sometime i got miss understand as a teenager too. So is this also a reason why I am single and guys dont really ask me out? Guys seem scare cause i looking to young for to have sex? To what I usually wear and get misunderstand as a teenager.

I want you to know that I do not mean to imply that you consciously try to create that impression your pic has on me and I apologize if there are any insulting statements in what follows. I think its easiest to be honest up to the risk of hyperbole in order to get that point across. Here we go:

    Sorry, but clothes with motives from child-cartoons is something 12 year olds would refuse to wear nowadays once they start to become interested in boys and do not want to dress like a primary school pupil anymore. That cat-image makes an otherwise edgy (but ok) dress-style outright *creepy*!

    Add some very red lipstick with no other makeup and you will very much look the lolita-style that is considered "barely legal" in a certain context...

    You have to understand that the single worst insult you can throw at any man is the word "pedophile". I am not a bit surprised that normal guys stay clear of you, when you dress that way - that is just over the top. Even I am scared / creeped and I am quite the opposite of a traditional-values person. You could wear a burka, a potato-bag or grandma's pyjamas and have less trouble dating guys. You are hitting the probably only remaining taboo right on the spot.

    There is however a certain kind of elderly man that would "invest" a lot in a "date" with a young woman styled that way. I mean the kind of creep no female would ever want to date and that most men would like to beat up on sight...

    For that guy alone it's a turn off. Probably because, to him, girls like you look jailbait,

    It's more about charm and style when you're teen. In your 20's you mature a bit and you're after someone who can talk and earn as well.

    But if you're going for the "baby face" look. Then you're going to struggle, as teen guys will be too immature for you, and older guys will be a bit intimidating and too wanton.

    You'll probably find that you'll need to initiate the contact most of the time. The younger guys will take you for being out of their league, or taken. The older guys will take for being jailbait. It's similar for other girls who go for niche looks. I have a couple of cosplay mad female friends. They both look better than most celebrities most days, but struggle in relationships.

    In their case it's work commitments make it difficult to fit a relationship. But also going out, most men assume her guy friends like me are her SO or security detail.

  • I think age can be really difficult to determine sometimes but usually it's overall demeanor and behavior that is a turn off and not that they look young.

    I don't know what you look like besides your cleavage so can't really speak for your situation but personally never thought someone looked too young. Only times it's been a turn off is when I know their age or when they behave like a kid.

  • In a lot of ways it is a good thing that you look a lot younger than you are. As you get older this will play out in your benefit. I am the say way, as is my father. I look about 15 years younger than I am. And I feel that way too.
    As for you, being a girl, it probably does keep guys from approaching you, though with that chest, I would question if you really were 15 or so.
    Anyway relax and enjoy what you have. Later, you will have the upper hand.

  • Considering how many 23+ yo teenage-looking girls and 16- yo mature-looking girls I saw (and knew their ages), one of the first things I'm interested in in a girl is if she's legally an adult or not. I sometimes even asked girls to show me their ID (here, you can find their birthday from their ID, even if the dates themselves are not explicitly written, they're part of the unique ID number), because I didn't believe them.

    For me, it's not a turnoff, it's actually a turn-on, if she is 18+ but looks much younger. Why? Because, statistically speaking, the chances of her preserving her young looks for longer than girls who look older than they are, those chances are very high. So if she will look younger than she is even when she's in her 40s and 50s, all that much better for me!
