  I totally agree with you... every word... like 100%. Plus, girl's shorts are very short. It makes sense for guy's shorts to be short too. They are called "shorts" after all. In a dressing room I tried shorts that ended just above the knee, and... I couldn't do it. They looked awkward, and felt restricting. I went back to 5 inch inseam/mid-thigh immediately.

  Yes! You are totally right! Honestly, I am a super feminine guy, so I'm an outlier by default. And I have super girly, smooth legs. But a guy wearing shorter shorts doesn't make him gay or anything. I actually am bi, but I like girls WAY more. So calling myself straight is just easier.
