    by the way.: That dictionary must be from the Victorian era.
    Here in Germany, people who would distinguish the term "pornography" from "erotica" by defining porn as "illicit and condemned material" must have been around long enough to remember trench warfare (apart from their marriage I mean).
    The common use of the term "pornografy" has lost most of its negative connotation and the above destinction is mostly made by defining porn as material explicitly depicting genitals *and* with dominant focus merely on the physical aspects of sexual intercourse.
