It's definitely interesting.
I'm sort of going back and forth on it.
People seem to fall into pro-straps or con-straps. I've talked to a couple of men about a similar picture, and they both did not like the straps high up on the breasts. Actually I think I'm in the middle on straps, contradicting what I just wrote.
To some, they look like bondage. And that is either a good or bad thing.
I think I'm getting a somewhat hospital vibe from these straps and being this like pink. I'd probably prefer it in black.
But don't let me influence you. I can imagine this is an in-between racy and sweet, for some.
Sorry, I don't have a strong opinion either way. From what I know of your girlfriend and you, I do think it's a good compromise, maybe.

I've seen the style but in different colors and there's something weird there's certain parts of it that's way too thick the itching makes it look kind of ugly it looks like somebody took Grandma's underwear and cut hoes in it and then restitched it with some lace.
It has like an old style mixed with a new style
I'd like it more if it was all lace

Unless your girl can definitely pull this off, then don't buy it. If she's at least even a little bit closer to a normal body type then she's going to look like a bag of mashed potatoes with rubber bands around it.
