No. There is no specific programming in our brains that say this is your girlfriend and must have an erection every time you see them.

And we don't get an erection just by looking at any random girl in any random situation.

Maybe when we're going through puberty and hormones are all out of whack... But during that time we can get an erection from looking at a slice of cheese, so that doesn't really count.

No that would be extremely awkward popping a bone every time your girlfriend was on scene. If a guy simply pitched a tent just from seeing his girlfriend then he has some wiring issues.
