We chatted privately for a few months, then went to Google, and hangouts, and video chatted, and she wasn't a 400 pound guy, ANY OF the times!! I used a junk email, on Google, just in case, but after chatting, maybe 3 months, you can kind of know someone is LEGIT!!

  @JackSmy No sure whether you meant to ask me or the OP. I was being sarcastic with respect to the confusions sexting appears to cause for many people who then subsequently ask questions like "what does it mean if he writes XYZ" or "why does he not respond, I feel ignored" or even "I have met this guy online (recently), should I travel 500 miles alone in order to meet him". The way you describe in your answer however is the *sane* way to doe things, especially the switch from text to video is important as it will tell you much more about the other person than text only. I would not consider that mere "sexting" anymore though.

  Sent videos to a guy on snapchat when I was 14, he sent them to all my friends to use as revenge porn, then I was slut shamed by all my friends. I did it a few more times but about 5 months ago when I stopped completely and my ex used those videos for revenge in a similar way. I've learnt my lesson now :/

  I didn't choose the first guy, it was a random probably adult guy who groomed me to send him videos. This was the first time I had a person who liked me so I was very gullible. Second time was definitely my fault for dating an ass 😂

  14 is too young for many things connected to sex. Plus that was child pornography. I understand your naïveté, and a good reason to not do things like that at a young age.
