Do People Actually Enjoy Sex Scenes In Movies & Tv Shows?

Maybe it's the way I was raised, because my family always made it a big deal to cover our eyes or skip when they came on. So I might feel some kind of subconscious guilt even now, but if a sex scene is too graphic or too long I often skip it lol.

And if I watch It, I just feel awkward after a while lmao I don't know.

Parents have the best interest when they do have kids cover their eyes or skip such things.
There isn't a play by play book for Parents.
In the USA its been hush hush for sex for so long. Its finally coming to the light of open topic at the table. The old school ways taught have given this new generation undiagnosed ptsd.
Feeling awkward during an actual art scene in a movie. Its not really happening. Its not porn. The older generations kept that for the adults. Today's generations get sex education at 6th grade and up.
Thats telling an average kid of 10 years old about reproduction and safe practices of sex. Its done to protect the kids. Not to show them how to have sex. As well make babies.
As a kid I felt awkward. I knew that was for adults and was curious. But didn't want my parents to know I knew about it.
Today as an adult. If kids are present when something like that comes on the TV. I choose to do like my parents did. Turn it off/pause whatever. Ask the kids to leave the room. I dont find that its appropriate to have kids watch sex scenes.

I can relate to this. Seeing sex scenes in TV is somehow disgusting and you feel ashamed and so on like you shouldn't see this. Always looking at the phone checking facebook or smth until it's over. On the other hand is watching porn no problem. Totally strange. Usually it shouldn't be that big of a deal because you usually don't see very much in these scenes and it's still a natural thing.

As long as the kids aren't around they're tucked in bed and the volume is on low then the more sex scenes the better

I don’t. They’re either too graphic or so gratuitous I start laughing. There’s only been a handful of times I’ve found them romantic. One of those being the second season of the blacklist with Tom and Lizzie. But generally they’re just too much. I fast forward if I’m by myself but I hate watching stuff like that with my mom bc she says I’m too childish for being uncomfortable with sex scenes. I don’t really care what she says. I think they’re weird.

It is ti depict how life is. I was already sexually mature at 11 years of age which is when I fully became real. The more real or true it appears and feels the more people enjoy it. By becoming real with yourself your able to fully utilize what it is to be fully human. There are only a few scenes that moved me. Once you are comfortable then everyone around you will be the same. Enjoy you. Then afterwards maybe someone can enjoy what you bring to the mix.
