Personally I believe if God wanted you to be a female you should be a female if God wanted you to be a man you should be a man... As for the reason... If I were with a "Trans woman" I'm with a person born Male... If I were a homosexual it would be with a real guy. And if I'm straight I want a real vagina that can give me children... It's because we're not gay. You can't make straight men become gay anymore than you can force gay people to be straight (or if you'd prefer another analogy, "... anymore than you can force gender dysphoria to go away.") But yeah, the "literally not being a woman" thing is a big deal, even if he lops off his penis through surgery. This would apply even if sexual intercourse wasn't a factor.
