In a healthy, committed, monogamous heterosexual relationship anal is no more dangerous than vaginal sex. There are so many misconceptions about anal sex, and so much misinformation out there about it, it's just crazy.
You are 100% correct that It does not cause fecal incontinence or weaken the sphincter. But like any other muscle, you have to be thoughtful about how you get it ready for a new activity. I think this Healthline article does a great job of explaining that.

what people find as "disgusting" is often safer than things that are considered "safe". . In study after study, when bathroom seats and cell phones were both swabbed, the cell phones always come out significantly more bacteria and virus-laden than the toilet seats!0 0 0 0Thanks for the MHO.

Unless you have anal fissures then it hurts like hell.
Regardless, no one can convince me to do it. I don’t care if it’s “safe,” it’s still gross.1 1 1 0The fact is a dick isn't a sharp object and even when fully erect it has a little flexibility and padding. Plus I've had shits bigger than most guys dicks.

6 8It is more dangerous when it comes to the spread of STDs, though
1 0 0 0Not really. It doesn't prevent them, but neither does oral.
There is an increased chance of giving the girl a UTI if you switch from anal to vaginal without putting on or changing the condom.
can you just accept that no means no
2 1 0 0I don't. I accept that yes means yes. EVERYTHING ELSE means no.
Also incorrect. But you are half way there.
ugh... no. You can still get std's even through anal sex..
1 0 0 1And you can't through another kind?
I never said you can't?
You have the possibility of getting STDs through any kind of sex, so avoiding anal to avoid STDs is stupid, if you are still having other types.
Are you trying to convince me that anal is something to do as regularly as regular sex lol
1 0 0 0It's personal choice
ok so are you saying its safe or dangerous? cause you're kinda contradicting yourself here
0 0 0 0It's safe, but not the safest form of sex. Think of it this way; running is probably one of the most dangerous forms of ambulatory movement. Maybe walking on your toes is worse, regardless it isn't inherently dangerous. It can cause problems if things go wrong, but it isn't dangerous, just not the safest.
Sure.
1 0 0 0Interesting I still think its a 1 purpose orrifice
0 0 0 0It is what it is.
0 0 0 0If it is safe or not?
I am still never going to willingly participate in it.1 0 0 0No, cause it's not 🙃
1 0 0 1Based on?
It's riskier that vaginal science. The anus isn't supposed to be penetrated, that's what makes it more risky: no lubrification, higher risk of STDs, higher risk of injury, higher risk of feeling pain.
The STD risk is the same as any other one, the other things are true. But there are more risk with running than walking. Yet people. still run.
I don't like it because it is disgusting.
1 0 0 0Anal sex is unsafe
1 0 0 0In what way?
Lots of infection
Not really at least if you don't switch from the ass to vagina without removing, changing, or putting on a condom.
The wrongfulness of it completely out-weighs the "safety" issues of it.
1 0 0 1the only thing I accept about it is the fact that it’s gross as heck
