Have you ever had PMS symptoms but didn't get your period?

I been feeling really moody lately, and my nipples are sore but I still didn't get my period/missed it. I had last month on the 12th, the clue app I have said it was either suppose to be yesterday or today but I didn't happen at all. Now I'm just confused, and no I am not pregnant cause haven't been having sex. Any ideas? Yes i will be going to doctor on the 15th just wondering if anyone had any opinions on it.

  • I am suffering all of the same symptoms! However my cycle seems to be shorter than yours and therefore comes sooner at least it was supposed to have come already.

I personally since reading your post am now wondering if my clue app is even working right. it's always worked before. But its its not calculating correctly for this monthMy cycle has always been 27/28 day cycle and my clue app is indicating exactly that about 27 days. what I don't understand is why is it claiming that I should be starting tomorrow when I should have started on the 10th I'll show you the pictures.

Have you ever had PMS symptoms but didn't get your period?

Honestly if I didn't come across your post I wouldn't have known that I was late to begin with but I don't understand why clue is claiming day 16 is when I should start when obviously day 27 was on the 10th

🤔 So with a 27 day cycle I am actually 6 days late!

I have also been Moody nipples are killing me Sex drive is extremely overactive stomach not in the mood for certain foods heightened sense of smell... Plus late period all should technically be signs of pregnancy but I seriously doubt it

My man has been Cut (vasectomy) ABOUT 50 years ago.
So technically I really shouldn't have to worry... & no I have not strayed nor have I been kidnapped by aliens
    (🤔that I am aware of 🤣👽🦠🤰🛸👀).

I think with all the stress going on right now in our country add quarantine, covid-19 schools are starting back up, workforces are starting back up, Summers ending which for some people that's a stressor in itself... maybe these things are triggering my cycle to be late.

Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed too by some of these factors plus or minus some things?

Sometimes I find taking a cheap pregnancy test jump starts my period as it leaves absolutely no doubt in my head (even when I KNOW I can't be pregnant)... Like the test psychologically allows me to start my period.
For some reason a pregnancy test coming out negative has been known to starts up a woman's cycle... Even if she outwardly knows she can't be pregnant I think there's a subconscious psychological part of us that tells our bodies "but what if we were?" and this dump subconscious thought can actually delay our periods more

So what I'm saying is daily stress in general can make us run late but then the stress of running late can also make us run later 🤣🤣🤣

🤔 isn't it so much fun being a woman?

Well I guess I have work to do to get unstressed now (thanks to this post) I just learned I am 6 days late... I suppose Dollar store here I come... Time to give the subconscious nagging voice the boot and jump start my period!

  • Yes, sometimes my periods are delayed for 3-5 days especially when I'm stressed out or due to hormones fluctuation.

Typically, a menstrual period is considered late if it hasn’t started 5 or more days after the day you expected it to start.

A period is considered missed if you have had no menstrual flow for 6 or more weeks after the start of your last period.
And it also depends on your average menstrual cycle. A regular cycle which is within the range from 21 to 40 days is considered as normal.

So, if you have not experienced unusual PMS symptoms or changes in contraceptive methods. In that case, there's nothing to worry. In the meantime, you can try doing meditation or yoga (worked for me) that would help you to relax because if you stress too much about it, the delay would possibly be longer.

    This helps

  • Yeah I have. It’s probably just a day or two late. Mention it to your doctor if you don’t get it by then.

    • I will, hopefully they can tell me why I'm growing so much chin and neck hair too =/
