Yes in a sense that it's a popular position among girls, though I known one girl that said that she have issue with it for being too animalistic, but saying that it's unpassionate is odd, considering how rough it is, anyway if you conservative it make sense, most conservative girls are having sex only in a missionary position.

  Your reasons for disliking doggystyle are more odd than the fact that you dislike doggystyle, if you said that doggystyle is impersonal and unromantic it makes sense, but unpassionate and unsexy? doggystyle allows much rough fucking than many other positions, how is that unpassionate? how is that boring? though maybe the guy you are with don't have the strength and stamina make the most of doggystyle and that's why you find boring, doggystyle have more focus on the fucking itself than missionary, so if the guy not excel at that then doggystyle makes it hard for him to compensate for that with kissing and/or other stuff.
