Polygraphs are a bad joke law enforcement has conned people into accepting police pseudoscience as legitimate forensic investigations of the human sphychi. I won't even attempt too conceal my contempt for idiotic rhetoric about pupil dilation, heart rate, respiration, and change in general demeanor as indicators of honest responses too police interrogation. Police say I am one of those people who know how too beat the machine, but that's ludicrous. There is nothing too beat. Lie detectors don't exist, and it amazes me how many people are dumb enough to believe their arguments about being "qualified" operators of this technology. The inventor of this technology, himself, condemned the use of this machine for that purpose, since that never was his intent when creating this monitoring technology. It was more for medical purposes, like an EKG, but more sophisticated in evaluating risk factors for seizures, strokes, and pulminary embolism. Not lies and attempting misdirection of police investigation. What total crap. The inventor said as much, and so do I. As far as determining if you can trust someone you like with intimate contact, that suggests trust issues bordering on sociopathic paranoia. That doesn't need lie detection. It needs sphycotic break detection.

Have you ever had sex with more than one guy in a 24 hour period?
Have you ever had an STD?
Do you have any diseases or medical/psychological issues?
Are on birth control?
Yes answers to any of these questions would prompt more detailed follow up questions. The purpose is to determine if I want to have sex with her, not necessarily to see if we are fit for a relationship. I'll determine that later, without a lie detector.

If you're going to give them a polygraph, you need to stick to yes/no questions with no room for gray area.
When they answer the questions then you get the yes/no verification. "So you said the last time you had sex was... Is that correct?"

"Would you say that promiscuous people are of poor character, in general?"
"Would you dump your partner if they unironically suggested involving anyone else in your sex life?"
Those would be the main ones for me.

They are loaded questions, yes. But loaded questions are the fastest way to determine where a person's values lie. It's much harder for people to pull off lies if you are aiming straight at their ego.
Some of those questions/answers tho aren't about ego, but rather personal choices/beliefs..

I am unable to answer this question because I would never be in the situation that gives me the time to administer such an inquisition of my partner prior to having sex. It always happens on a spur of the moment. Stopping to ask such things would definitely spoil the passion and impulse of the moment. If it happens- it happens.
If there were any possibility of dangerous sex with someone, it would be determined long before the act would occur, if at all, and would not likely happen.
