Why do women love being referred to as “bad girl” in bed?

I always noticed that porn always had a tendency of making women look behave like either sex fiends or the hopeless innocent with a no way out.

It wasn’t until I came across the soft core stuff that I realize women being labeled as the “bad girl” in bed. Later on I’ve actually spoke to a lot of girls who actually enjoy being called and treated like the “bad girl” in bed such being spanked or restrained in any way, etc. they say it turns them the F on for some reason.

But I always wondered what exactly is so amusing about being called and treated like a “bad girl” in bed?

I also noticed a lot of women love to take pride in this. Claiming they are ladies in life but “bar girls” in bed.

  • Calling her a bad girl implies that she’s doing something wrong, which can be a turn on for girls who have taboo fantasies that are exciting because she feels like she’s doing something she’s not supposed to. She gets a thrill out of being naughty. It can also turn her on if the guy follows up by punishing her for being a bad girl and she has to accept the punishment, so it can be a masochist/submissive thing.
The idea of being called “bad girl” or being told “You’re in trouble” in bed in a playful way, followed by mild punishment, are personally appealing to me because I can be submissive to a guy but he won’t be too harsh or aggressive with me. I would not be okay with him viciously calling me a whore and choking me- that’s way too violent and angry to be a turn on- but jokingly calling me a bad girl and pinning me down are fine.

  • Human sexuality tends to track cultural narratives. Society looks down at women who have sex and enjoy it, implicitly or explicity, and so when they partake in sexual activity that they feel is degrading but enjoyable, they want to be referred to as bad, slutty, etc, because this is the social role that they're performing in that given moment.

This isn't just a female trait. Everyone does this. Think about a man who may believe that society would classify his penis as being small. That man is much more likely to be into small penis humiliation, because it's validating the social label that he's attached to himself. Or think about when a man is told or believed to be interested in aggressive and promiscuous sex. The idea of being a womanizer can itself be arousing, even when we don't have a woman in our bed in that given moment. It's all about our social relationship to societal perspectives. It's NOT about our self esteem, confidence, or anything of that nature.

  • You can't be too much of anything in life because you will get bored
