I've got a little experience here... she was closer to a friends with benefits then a girlfriend - and I would say 96% of the time I had no problem with it. I mean, first off, I knew she did porn from the start. But there were times it felt a little weird - like one time I remember, went on a trip with her after she had done a bunch of shoots. Hard to explain but it just felt a little weird... hard to explain - anyhow, we did have a great trip with great sex and all.
While I never intended to go beyond what we were doing, I did wonder if I ever could date a porn star - and with that friends with benefits experience, I am not sure so I answered maybe... I think it would be a "yes" if the woman was no longer doing porn but did it before - but it would be harder to say "yes" if she was still doing it.

Yes, they probably make a lot more money than I will when I get a job, so I wouldn't be getting used in any way. It's weird that your boyfriend would say he'd date a pornstar if the chemistry was good, when he's with you right now. Well the thing is my boyfriend is really insecure. We have had several fights about this. He will sometimes say things to get my attention and I'm sure this was one of those times.

One problem he has is that he is kind of hypocritical. He watches porn but doesn't like me doing it. I let him look at other women on the street but he told me if I did that it would crush him. I've told him that I will break up if this doesn't change. If he goes around with a mindset that he can do such things and I can't, that's unfair, childish and controlling. He has told me he is aware of this problem and is working on it. But I know it's due to insecurity.
I would never be with someone who used sex as their primary purpose or money-making source in life. It just doesn't interest me. It's a manipulation, too.
