  • So brushing teeth and showering done...
Wash face, use toner, moisturizer and eye cream about five minutes
Put hair products in my hair and wrap my hair about two minutes
Apply body lotion everywhere about three minutes
Put eye shadow primer on eyes a minute
Pick out clothes and get dressed five to 15 minutes
Apply makeup about 20 to 40 minutes
Brush hair, section off hair, blow out around 45 to 55 minutes (I have A LOT of long hair)
    Get dressed two minutes
Then to finally search for the freaking shoes for my outfit two minutes to a freaking eternity, I swear. 🙄 (seems I have more shoes than I have hair in my head. 🤦🏼‍♀️)
Overall it takes me around 85 minutes to a little over two hours.
And thats if I can find my jewelry or if I stick with my usual go to pieces.
But it also depends on what I’m doing. Like that’s a typical work day or going out for more than just running errands.

If I’m just going to the store or something like that I’m not going to put my hair and skin through the ringer.
That would probably be more along the lines of washing my face, using toner and moisturizers.
Using dry shampoo and brushing my hair into a pony tail
Pulling on the first pair of jeans and t shirt I find, throwing on my tennis shoes and a baseball cap.
So roughly 15 minutes on those “I don’t give a shit” days.
Locating my keys usually takes longer.

  • Depends on the day or where I'm going, if I'm in my "no makeup most days" mode or my "makeup every day" mode. I have a whole skin care routine. Not sure if you're counting that as part of the showering, brush teeth thing. I'd say 15-45 minutes total on average, most days.

Usual routine after shower: apply body butter from the neck down, serums and face moisturizers have to dry, then I apply sunscreen and need to wait 15 mins before sun exposure, and choosing clothes takes time unless I know what I want to wear or just dont care and grab something quick to throw on. Makeup could be like 5 minutes or 15, depends on what I'm doing. I also tend to listen to podcasts, music, or watch something while getting ready and that probably does slow me down.

I have very curly, high maintenance hair, but I only wash it once or twice a week. Most days I spend like 5 - 10 minutes on my hair. But if I need to wash / hair mask it, it takes significantly longer. But I usually do this when I have nowhere to go, so my hair can dry. However, if I do want to do a quick wash, apply styler, and blow dry... best bet is like 1.5 to 2 hours for me to get ready total. Which is why I almost never wash my hair right before going somewhere lol but sometimes you just have to.

  • Depends.

If it's a run to the store, and I don't think I will see anyone really or have photos taken or whatever, then maybe 15-20 minutes. Brush teeth if need be, make sure the shirt is ok, get the phone, the mask, make sure there are no bad holes in the jeans/shirt, throw on some socks that don't smell, (lol) and bring stuff I need for a quick run to the store.

If I'm trying to look really good, then probably a half hour to an hour, depending on how prepared I already am. This is shower, shave, double-check the nails, breath, gel the hair, etc. I usually don't take a long time because I'm half ready as it is. I've shaved the beard/stubble. I'm already wearing deodorant... I had a shower that morning, etc.

  • 1. Do my hair. Wet it, salt spray, dry it, and wax if it's windy.

    2. Toss on an appropriate outfit for the occasion.

    3. Put on a fragrance, which is one depends on the weather and context. Wear something stronger if i'm going on a date in winter or fall. Something much more subtle if i'm just going to an interview in mid summer.

    4. Go.

Takes 5-10 minutes. Maybe 15 if i'm feeling lazy. Shaving, wahsing, etc are all part of my morning shower so I didn't count them.

  • I don't bother putting on make-up or anything so it doesn't take more than a minute to give my hair a quick brush-through and put on the first pair of clean leggings I can find.

  • 5-10 minutes max. I don't wear makeup, and my hair is easy maintenance: throw on a headband, or run my fingers through it and go.
Makes life so much easier, especially getting ready for work.

  • It depends on what I am going to do. If I am going to a party or work or somewhere that its expected that people look decent then counting shower 30-60 min. If it's like today where I was running some errands and the lockdowns are still in place for COVID then basically none. Today I needed food so before I went I took the onesie off I had been wearing for almost 3 days. Butt naked looked in my underwear draw, saw that it was empty since I have not done wash in 3 weeks. Put on my sweat pants commando then put on a fuzzy teddy hoodie I haven't touched a bra in months so nothing under that. Then I put on some Uggs and left.

It is easier to be put in no effort when its cold out since you can hide behind thick clothing. When it was still warm out I put in some more effort.

  • It takes me around 30 minutes to style my hair and apply some concealer, eyeliner and lipstick.

  • On an average day, I just put on my work uniform, tie my hair back, and go.

If I'm going to the grocery store or something like that, it's just casual clothes and tying my hair back.

If I'm hanging out with friends, it's casual clothes and however long it takes to make my hair look decent (believe it or not, I actually HATE tying it back, but I have somewhat curly hair that typically looks like shit any other way unless I want to actually put anywhere from 15-30 minutes into it).

For special occasions (ultra-rare), maybe 45 minutes to an hour to apply makeup, fix my hair, and pick out something decent from what little formal/nice attire I own.

  • Really depends on what I'm doing. Going out to pick someone up, I will walk out without doing a thing, no matter how I look because I'm just in the car. Going to the shop, I tidy myself up a little bit but not loads. Going to a friend can vary from very little effort to quite a bit more depending on my mood. And going out on a night out can take up to 3 hours! That's mainly because I'm slow haha.

  • Really depends on the day if I feel like doing my makeup or not. Sometimes I just wear concealer and sometimes I like to do my full face. It ranges from 5 min-20 min. My hair is super easy though.

  • 20 mins. 10 spent dancing around. 2 mins to throw my hair in a bun. 3 mins to put on my graphic tee and sweats. 5 to decide which shoes. If the public is not impressed by my laid back casual style then oh well

  • 10-25 to get the basic, everyday look done. My makeup usually takes about 10-15 minutes, and the rest is put into making sure my hair looks ok + getting dressed. I leave my hair loose when it's clean and put it up in a pony when it's dirty (so by day 3 or 4), and both require a bit of styling.

If I want to take my time though, it takes about 40 minutes for me. Usually I end up adding a bit of eyeshadow and making sure that everything is perfectly blended and smooth. I rarely have a wardrobe crisis so getting dressed only takes a couple of minutes, usually I plan my outfits while I do my makeup or I just grab something quick and easy to put on.

  • If shower brushing hair/ teeth doesn’t count then I put in under 5 minutes getting dressed.

    • Unless I’m concerned something is too revealing or tight and cause unwanted Focus and make me uncomfortable.. . I may Think on it a bit before deciding.

    • How much time do you take to decide which one to wear 😂🤔😜

    • @Aakash_Hangargi Depends on what it’s for but normally if I’m doubting it, I’ll change clothing post it to get opinions, and wear it another time, depending

  • I'd typically fit into that 5 or less minute group if we are not counting the shower and teeth brushing.

  • I don't really do much. I already brush my teeth before I get in the shower. After I get out of the shower it takes quite a while to brush my hair (I have naturally curly temples, so I have to have my hair damp and brushed nicely). I might put Aveeno lotion on my face if I want to. I'll bring some vaseline lip therapy with me since I bite my lips. I'd make sure my eyebrows are plucked and there's no lip hair. And I'll wash my glasses before I leave. But this is about it for me really. I'm pretty much mostly a natural girl if you couldn't tell yet. lol

  • If showering and brushing teeth doesn't count, then I just get dressed and go, so Option A.

  • About 2 minutes. Long enough to 'throw' on some clothes & shoes... gone. I don't use makeup & the only time I care about managing my hair is if I'm going to work/special event but I do that the evening before.

    • What do you do?

    • @Dave31989 Apply some Argan / Macadamia cause the hair's dry & frizzy normally and give it a brush. Very simple. Otherwise there's days I look like I've stuck my finger in an electrical socket the hairs' standing that much on end.

    • I meant for work, haha, not your hair

  • Unless I need to go out on an emergency basis, I always want to look my best.
I'm not a fashionista. I just feel more comfortable presenting my best self.

  • On a work day I simply just get dressed and put my hair up. If im going out for dinner or something like that ill take half an hour, do it hair, put some make up on etc.

  • Now I need cigarettes so I'm ready to go!

  • Doesn’t matter where I’m going- even if it’s to the drugstore. I’m always going to get ready and feel good no matter how long it takes.

  • Less than 10 minutes in the mornings before I ran on the streets with our dogs.

  • Less then 5 mintues

    • I could have bet on that answer <3

    • @scooogy haha yeah I dont do much to be ready
