I know lot of movies show sex scenes where the actors pretend having sex and does not show their genitals. Will there be a time when when they act like porn stars and have sex onscreen focusing more on sexual pleasure and showcasing their body for the audience rather than love making just like porn with the movie having about 30 mins or so of porn time in it?

No, definitely not.

If anything , audiences desire for 'sexy' intimate scenes in movies seems to be going down, not up. Everyone has access to whatever porn they want in their pocket on their phone. Decades ago people looked to sexy scenes in movies because it was their only conventional access to that. Sex is used to move the plot, but movies that used to market themselves as 'sexy' or as having comedy and nudity, those sorts of things have been box office flops in the last decade.

No way, we're becoming more and more offended by everything. We don't even allow swear words on basic tv, it's either none or regulated. Other countries like Australia be swearing on tv like you're watching HBO. In the 70s you could find theatres that showed porn, it was common enough. I doubt there are many theatres like that today.

It would be great if well made movies with good actors included explicit sex. It's possible that such movies would become acceptable. To hell with censors. The problem is, I can't imagine many actual actors agreeing to fuck on film. Most of those people have spouses and kids. They certainly have family and friends who would be appalled.
I mean porn stars are one thing, but they can't act.
But damn! It would it be amazing to see a really good actress get totally plowed and to have it filmed and edited by top-notch movie makers. It would be possible now days, to use stand ins for the close up shots of genitals. Even CG could be employed.
Anyway, some really good movies have erotic scenarios. But then they cop out when it comes to the sex, even when they are showing a supposed sex scene.

This has occurred to me before. Used to be the sex in movies was basically two people going into a room and the door shutting behind them. Then it was a tastefully cut scene of people kissing on a bed, pan out and fade to black. Then there was a bit more grinding and thrusting and sometimes even a little pounding. Then came a pair of wobbling tits and a bare ass. Surely soon enough there will be an erect penis oozing with cum, some slapping noises and a close-up of a juicy vagina.

In fact the opposite is happening, with some progressive liberals pushing if anything for age of consent laws to go beyond age 18 and greater intervention into the sex lives of college age women. Age of consents are going up, globally, not down.
