Should I be worried that I didn’t get pregnant?

I had sex 3 days before my ovulation day and I didn’t get pregnant. I was NOT planning on it I didn’t want to get pregnant anyway but he did c*m in me. I’m just worried that I didn’t get pregnant considering most people do on those days? Or is it genuinely difficult to get pregnant? I’m just worried for the future that I won’t be able too

  • Just because it's POSSIBLE to get pregnant doesn't mean you automatically will - and that's good, considering you could easily be pregnant right now with an unplanned pregnancy. Several things have to line up just right - the time in your cycle, your diet, your health, your hormones, your body fat, and the health of the guy and his sperm.

For example, one of the reasons why testicles are in a sac is because the testies need to be at a consistent temperature that's cooler than the body, and when they're hot, the hang looser to keep them further from the body, and when colder, the sack contracts to bring them closer to the body for warmth. It's possible that the guy's sperm wasn't as active or healthy because it was too warm - especially possible in summer months and if you wear restrictive/supportive underwear.
So, yeah, a number of things have to go right in order to get pregnant - but MOST of them tend to be pretty likely anyway, so it's not smart to test your luck all the time. You need to be on BC or you need to be using condoms, evil as they are.

  • There are many reasons why you did not get pregnant.

    1) the issue could be him. Ya, his sperms count could be low or he is sterilised.

    2) if both are healthy, it may take a few sessions of unprotected sex to get pregnant.

    3) if you're really concern, go to your gynecologist instead. You can get a reliable report without having to carry a child.

  • Just because you have sex on or before your ovulation time does not automatically guarantee that you will become pregnant.
I took my sister almost eighteen months to conceive, and me seven months.
Some women seem to just think sex and become pregnant, whilst others can find it more difficult and frustrating.
