Have you ever used a breast pump and what is the purpose of them?

Yess i calculated it once and I've spent over 1700 hours breastpumping for my kids. First son was tongue tied and I had to pump for him for 6 months and that was pumping multiple times a day. With my second I had a over supply and had to pump at least once a day if not more to relieve it.
Usually insurance companies pay for them. I got mine and all the supplies for free. I did also buy a few manual pumps too but those are cheap.

Breast pumps, if memory serves me correct. Are for breastfeeding mothers, who are not able to breastfeed naturally.

I produce more milk than needed, but I donate to a breast milk bank for those mothers who can not breast feed.
