Why are some guys proud of the fact they're into sext?

I've never personally understood the attraction but I get that some people get pleasure from it. It's not unusual for guys to approach me on here looking to sext and boasting about how great they are at it. However it's blatantly obvious that they have a very limited vocabulary and a poor standard of English, so I fail to grasp how they could be good at sext. But nevertheless they act like I should be overwhelmed with appreciation that they've offered to sext with me.
When I give my stock response, that I'd rather shove wasps up my ass, they keep pushing how wonderful they are at it and how I'll have a great time if I try them.

But I don't see sexting as something a guy should be proud of. To me it just means he's unable to get real sex or he's afraid of real physical contact.

They're just weirdos who don't get laid. Most of the people they've been "sexting" with are probably other dudes pretending to be women. The best one I saw on here was the guy who was bragging that he was very experienced and had been sexting for 14 years.
