  • It's unusual and possibly a red flag. Depends on why, most guys who don't are usually very religious or were raised very religious and feel guilt about it. The other primary reason is the false idea that it effects athletic performance (multiple studies have debunked this). Another, slightly rarer idea is that it effects ones vibrational level in the spiritual sense of it, I've certainly seen this argument put forth in a few spiritual books. And lastly some sub type men don't for kinky/fetishy reasons.

    It may indicate underlying issues, especially guilt about sex and intimacy.

    • Let’s deal with the facts here. Males do not begin to hurt if they don’t have a regular release. This has just been a manipulative tool used by males to get what they want. Blue balls also is a similar fake manipulative tool. Masturbation is more highly linked to stress reduction than anything sexual or to prevent pain. Yes, there are vitamins and nutrients in ejaculate, but the amounts are so small you’ll never notice the difference. That’s not to say you should avoid it, but do what you enjoy, not just what you feel obligated to tolerate.
