Do you think a woman can be without sex for more than a year?

I know men and women think differently about sex maybe due to men and women biology that is different but can a person be without sex for a long time? This question I read it a few minutes ago on a website and found interesting topic for men and women to give their respective opinions. Im going to post here the different opinions I read on this topic I found on the article. Women`s opinions: - " Sure, and even more, women are smarter than men and we know our happiness do not depend on sex, we can be happy with so many things, we give love of many different ways and give ourselves love, I mean we are full of projects that the last thing what we think is sex.".  
 -Yes and no. Your body needs maintenance once in a while 
 - Nooo, sex is a necesity like eating, sleeping and even if you have sex with the same person, but that we need i, we need it often. 
 -Sex is not a necesity. So far I haven't met anyone that had died beause of abstinence. On the contrary not eating, not drinking even not sleeping IS a necesity. Sex is one of the few things a human being do , just for pleasure, not for necesity. Of course, in each of us lies the responsability how you want to handle it. 
 -"No way, I was without sex for 6 months and I felt I was dying" 
 -Im living proof I dont have a partner like 10 years ago 
 -Yes you can, at this time you can't grab just anything. It s better your self love 
 -Yes you can I have not had intimacy for 9 years 
 -Of course you can, the woman only needs to set his mind in other stuff and never think about it

I think anyone can be without sex for year if they work at it and choose to live that way. But no one has a right to instill their beliefs on others. If other people wish to experience their sexuality that is their right.
