Should I try OnlyFans (non-nude)?

Has anyone here participated in OnlyFans? What is it like for you?

So on the side, I am a fire and LED performer using props such as hoop, fans, staff, fan veils, etc - also known as flow arts. I haven't had work this year of course due to covid, so I haven't posted anything on social media (and I've been focusing on other things).

A few of my followers on Insta and Facebook have wondered why I haven't posted anything in a while and suggested I try signing up for OnlyFans because they'd be interested in subscribing.
I thought about it but I decided if I joined, I'd be strictly non-nude, no exceptions.

I could do live performances or tutorials on technique on flow art, belly dance, etc.
But I'm thinking if I do it that way, it would be more like Patreon which I have thought about too, but I don't know if I'd get the same following on that platform.

There are quite a few members of the flow art community on OnlyFans, but from what I can tell most of them do nudes. I know there are successful OF members who don't go nude as well. But I also wouldn't want thirsty guys pestering me about it. And I honestly wouldn't be chatting with guys unless I was teaching them flow art technique.

So I'm wondering if it would be worth it to try OF or just do Patreon.

I only know onlyfans from the customer/fan pov, but one thing I've heard often from people using it is that they don't see any point in using it for non-adult material, as onlyfans takes a 20 % cut of all your earnings. So be aware of that.

Another thing, perhaps just my opinion, but I feel that it is somewhat difficult to discover new content on onlyfans. I get some suggestions for accounts to follow, but there's not really a way to get an impression of what kind of account that is without paying for it. So be prepared to do all your marketing on other social media so that when people click that onlyfans link they already know what you offer and that it's worth paying for.

But as I said, I've never actually had a creator account, so take this with a grain of salt.

Even if it is non nudes , you are bound to get thirsty horny incels around you.

Some of them dangerous especially if they find out you are married , you might not know who your dealing with.

Initially it might be good but I have feeling it might turn dark very soon

If your doing this for money , why not do twitch and play the popular game , among us , is you have a funny personality, you are guaranteed to get donations

I suggest Locals. com actually. It's like Patreon in terms of the finances and support, but like facebook with interactions from your subscribers. And you have total control over your content

The thing I would be concerned about with OnlyFans is that it would give you a bad name (whether fair or not). And it also might attract people who would pressure you to do more and go farther than you're willing to go.

Yes. We actually have discussed only fans quite a bit because we find it interesting. He thinks women doing OF is much better than signing up for a sugar daddy/sugar baby site because on OF, women are the ones holding the cards and making the money instead of being at the guys command.
