What happens if you freeze your testicles then orgasm?

We've all heard the phrase "it's cold enough to freeze your balls off" but what would happen if your balls were frozen and you tried to ejaculate? Do you shoot icicles or would it just be blocked up?

Also does it feel different if your balls are really cold when you cum? Does it effect the viscosity?

  • Great question and I can share some experienced thoughts as I've played with ice before... had a girlfriend who would get her mouth all cold with ice then go down on me... was pretty wild when she did it in a repeating fashion... and then we'd have sex when she really make it cold and she thought that sensation was nice and it was wild going into the oven with a cold one lol...

I have also used ice on my balls to see what it was like... was a good sensation... have done it while edging... hold some ice to them while going to an edge... it's fun... I didn't freeze them to know enough to your question but when I've cum after doing that it was strong but not any stronger than usually when edge...

Also oversharing but it's related... I have put ice in my butt :) Was also a good sensation.

    • Thanks @AIBOT for the SO! It's even more of an honor when it is on one of @purplepoppy 's questions! :)

@brainsbeforebeauty I pretty much thought I'd get the SO here but then again me and AI Bot were doing some ice sex play the other night and AIB damn near short circuited :)

  • Okay, here is little class on Balls 101.
First have you ever seen a guys balls hanging really low, sack stretcher out and all? Well it happens to guys when it gets really hot. More surface area on the sack to help cool down the testicles. To hot and his sperm dies...
Second have you heard what happens when a guy takes a cold shower? Everything shrinks up, right? well that is because when it is cold everything shrinks up inside the body to regulate the warmth so your sperm doesn't get to cold. To cold and his sperm dies...
Now that doesn't mean a guy can't still ejaculate, he can ejaculate even without sperm. Freeze his balls and he would still cum but it may hurt like hell ;) lol

  • This made me laugh a little. The guy I’m dating pulls out when we have sex. In my head, I imagined ice chips shooting out. Lol

  • Just so that you know, 95% of an ejaculation comes from internal organs like the prostate, the Cowper’s glands and seminal vesicles. The sperm from the testicles is only 3-5%, so, you might not see the difference but you might ejaculate sterile semen that can’t impregnate.

So not going to try it out :-)

  • Hah. I wouldn't know and am not inclined to find out.
How would you feel about a slushy shooting inside you? LOL

  • I'm no doctor, but I don't think you'd actually be able to. I suspect that would be quite painful. Though I guess there are some guys who get off on pain, so I don't know. Hmm...

  • I've never froze my balls so how would I know I know one thing about balls the reason they're hanging and not inside the body is because sperm has to be a couple of degrees lower than body temperature in order to make

  • The only component of semen produced in the testicles themselves is the sperm cells. The fluid is produced by the seminal vesicles, the prostate gland and the bulbourethral glands. All of those glands are within the body core and not the scrotum. So everything else being equal, having cold testicles wouldn't affect the seminal fluid still being body temperature, and there would be no icicles being ejaculated.

  • I think you would be dead but IF alive you would be in sever pain. You would not be sexually aroused. Lets pretend neither and you are able to ejaculate. Sperm makes up a small amount of the fluid that is ejaculated. So you would ejaculate as normal.

  • I think the phrase is "cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey", but a little searching tells me the story I was told (that it was about cannon balls) is a myth, it's as rude as I originally thought!

  • Well since sperm can only be produced at 35 degrees Celsius, I guess the sperm count in the cum will go down.

  • Semen does not come from the testes, so freezing them would,
    a) cause tissue death/frostbite
    b) stop sperm

But semen would still happen (assuming that you were able to localise the freezing to just the testes.)

To bring in the element of reality, the pain of freezing balls would quickly rule out sex of any kind.

  • im not sure if my balls were that cold i dont think an errection would be possible due to the shrinkage that happens. plus i think by the time it was errect and ready to shoot it would be warmed up with good blood flow by that point. but hey shooting icicles would definitely be so awesome 😅

  • Probably I'll die. OK, serious now, I don't know exactly, I'm not a urologist, this could not be done this in home or anywhere without medical advice

  • I think the term "freezing your balls off" is more about frostbite than ejaculating.

  • First off. A guys balls would break or fall off if you froze them. Plus the liquid parts of the ejaculate actually come from another part of a guys body. So if you were to freeze the balls a guy may still be able to ejaculate if his muscles were still able to contract.

  • If your balls are literally frozen and attached to your body, you're already dead.

  • Why would anyone wsnt to permsmently injure themselves?

  • U can't

  • Your wife has Frosty the Snowman in 9 months.

  • i'm pretty sure a man could not cum if his balls were frozen. My calls have never been cold when I cum, so can't give you an answer.

  • That’s why nature put them between my legs, to keep them warm!

  • Fascinating stuff! My orgasms are much better on the days the “flow” is thicker. Though most of the semen is produced internally in the prostate and cowpers gland

    • Actually, the scrotum is outside the rest of the body because the testicles need a lower temperature to produce sperm.

    • @DreamCatchcer that is correct but most of the semen volume is produced internally

    • So is teabagging an effective contraception technique. Boil them tadpoles with oral action before sex
