I think men are much more irresponsible when it comes to sex and that they should be the ones taking the responsibility of birth control.

The point of the post is that Male politicians think I they have the right to tell women that they aren't allowed to have abortions. If this post pisses you off then the point is you have no right to tell a women that she can't have an abortion.

  • No one has the right to tell anyone what to do with there lifes or bodies is there choice do as you please

  • The reversibility of vasectomy is a myth. These operations are expensive and have a low success rate that goes down with the amount of years since the original vasectomy.

    • do you have medical proof?

    • Google.

      www.nhs.uk/.../

The links with higher success rates are the ones of the private clinics that do reversals ;-). In all cases, you’ll be significantly less fertile as before and often more invasive procedures are needed like IVF and ICSI because the man has not good enough sperm.

  • I dont see whats the big problem with making babies with each other. lets make sum babies ain't it. why everyone hate babies so much? lets make one 2together. ur vagina, my penis

    • i think it is okay if guy pay 4 all of it as long as he decides everything. girl have no say if she wanna be cheapskate

    • prob the whole politics stuff get skewed cuz guy have 2 pay 4 it. just say, guy dont have 2 pay 4 it. girl pay everything. its her body, her decision. keep da guys outta it. then no problem, ain't it? but girls are like, its mostly my prob, its my body, and i want everyone else 2 pay 4 me. well, fuck u ain't it?

  • Honestly no one should have sex under 18. Hell prob even under 21. But they do and will regardless of what they are. I just say wrap it up until you settle with one person and then if you go bare, prepare for the consequences. I’ll never support abortion nor vasectomies nor birth control 🤷‍♀️ Keep your pants zipped or close your legs. Shoot, even abstinence is key if you wanna go that far into holding out

  • Most of the men on here aren't going to be smart enough to understand the point of your post.

    • I know most guys equate their ability to knock women up with masculinity.

  • AMEN I AGREE 100 %

  • I think that post is very interesting and she does kind of have a point there. When you talk about abortions and her body, it does take a turn when asking a man to make a similar commitment

    • Oh, you think she has a point? How is mutilating a man’s genitals in any way comparable to telling mothers not to murder their children?

    • @Shamalien a vasectomy isn't mutilation. It's literally a small incision and a snip and you're done. Its very noninvasive

    • It’s surgery that breaks a biological function you absolute fucking cunt burn in hell

    • male Vasectomies can come undone naturally. so they are not 100% safe
    • female tube ties can come undone naturally. so they are not 100% safe
    • knew a couples that had both and still had a set of twins after words. so they sued the doctors for compensation.
    • best ways to avoid abortion, unplanned or unwanted pregnancy is to not engage in hookup culture. but to only have sex with a exclusive relationship partner you trust.
  • The best birth control: "No."

  • Not all vasectomies are reversible, so let's say a man does it an later is financially and emotionally fit. Can't be reversed and will never be able to have his own children.
The whole argument about "It's my body makes no sense to me". But I'm not going to get into it because it would be long.
However, I would like to say that men are not more responsible. Women are every bit as responsible. Man and woman had sex, and then she is pregnant as a result. Both men and women should practice birth control, or simply abstain from sex. Is that realistic? No, but it's reality. You have a choice and you made it. Deal with the consequence. That goes for both men and women.

  • Unfortunately men and women think below the belt half the time so it's not fair to blame anyone. Vasectomies are also very invasive compared to birth control. And nobody is forcing you to have sex

    • Vasectomies actually are hardly invasive and men can resume normal day to day activities after having it done.

    • That's your opinion. You're not a guy and you have no right to make that determination. Saying all guys should get vasectomies because they're "irresponsible" would be similar to saying that women should just keep their legs closed since they're more "responsible"

    • Well that's the point I'm trying to make with men thinking they have the right to tell a woman she can't have an abortion.

    • Show All
  • Both male and female carry the ingredients to make a baby. It's both of their responsibilities.

  • I agree with you.

  • You can't force anyone to have a surgery, and this doesn't allow men to make the choice if they want to have kids and I'm infertile myself but I can say for sure I wouldn't trust the government to hold on to them for a decade without losing it. Plus this violates the constitutionally guaranteed right to bodily autonomy. Just use condoms like you're supposed to, it's not that hard

  • I think women are much more irresponcible, when it comes to sex. They make the sole decision what they let between their legs and how.

Maybe every woman should have an IUD before they can get a child, and a panel of experts should decide this.

How would that go with you, huh?

Long story short: don't blame others for your stupidity.

    • Lol I dont have any kids so dont point fingers. It's a good topic for discussion. And yes i know females can be very stupid and pop out kid after kid but that still doesn't mean that a man can take away a womans right to abortion.

    • Abortion is not a right by any means. Let me tell you, what I think: if you need to end a life, you better have good reasons. Having unprotected sex and being irresponsible is not one of them. So abortion should be okay, if and ONLY if: - Normal contraception failed (because then you have either took the day after pill or have a prescription for contraceptive or a bill of any devices/surgeries) - Rape - Medical complications, mutations, etc. If these reasons are not present (in other words: the parents were irresponsible) - they must keep the child. They may put them up to adoption, but then let them both be forced to pay child support until the kid turns 18. Just like a murder, being irresponsible in bringing another life into the world should have long lasting and painful consequences. I guarantee, that contraception would skyrocket. With that, stds would decline quite a bit. Or, if you want raw pleasures, just use pills, rings or surgery.

    • And let me be very clear: BOTH parents should be punished with this, as it takes two to be stupid in this case.

  • Ok here the problems this line of arguing.
One birth control options are not equal for the sexs and may never be. Other that wearing a condom all the attempts a male birth control to my knowledge risk a man becomeing sterile. You vasectomies are reverseable but if something gose wrong it leave a man sterile forever instead of for just right now. Drugs that went to trail had side effects of suicidal depression and remaining sterile after the medication was no longer being taken.

Second the male politician creates the wrong us verse them narrative. It is not male politicians try to limit your access to abortions, it is pro life politicians doing this and surprise surprise some those are woman. Want proof. It a women possibly being appointed to the Supreme Court that could lead to roe vs wade being overturned. So all you doing is alienating possible male allies.

Third i have come across 3 main reason poeple are pro life, religious doctrine, they got someone pregnant and were excited to be a father only the woman to choose an abortion, and finally misinformation. This argument say man should not have a voice at the table further excuting the second group, and dose nothing to clarify the pro choice stand failing to reach the 3rd group. leaving an attempt to shame poeple in to your veiwpoint which won't work on the first group.

I am very my pro choice. In face i very well might not be alive to day if my mother didn't have an abortion when she need one.

How you can put deep thought to positions your passionate in and how to best reach other people on those topics.

  • It the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, women are supposedly more mature than men so they should be capable of deciding who to have a baby with

    • Its not about maturity. Men can get a different girl pregnant every day for a month and not face any repercussions for it. Meanwhile the woman is stuck for 9 months and then ends up having to raise the child alone.

    • If these women are consenting to having sex with a guy that impregnates everyone there not that mature. Both are to blame if the guy is not raping them

    • The point of the post is the fact that men think that have a say so in women being allowed to have abortions.

  • Women make the call when it comes to sex and are the ones who have 100% of the parental rights, so why should it be a guys problem?
“Male politicians” don’t tell women shit. In most places abortion is legal and the states that aren’t has NOTHING to do with “Male” anything... it’s political bullshit and religious bullshit... just because men make up the majority of those who go into politics doesn’t make it a male thing. That’s just a stupid feminist scapegoat to push their hate.

  • The longer you have a vasectomy the less likely the reversal will be successful. Speaking as someone who got a vascetomy it isn't as easy as you make it sound. It can be reversed successfully, I can win the lottery. It doesn't mean either will happen. If you get a vasectomy, you are doing it with the expectation of permanence. The doctor tells you to view it as permanent, and if you may not want it permanent, don't get it.

  • It is true in most cases. I've also been with women who don't give a shit about whether I wear a condom or not though.

    • But I mean I'm sure you dont want 20 kids running around that are yours

    • Sure. I still used a condom anyway. Some are just way too reckless, especially those who believe pulling out works everytime

  • The problem with politicians is somewhere along the line they've forgotten that we don't work for them they work for us. Time to vote their ass out and start fresh
