No, it might make it smell like soap if you didn’t rinse well. Unless you have a vaginal infection your natural smell and taste is fine. If your guy complains and won’t go down then do the same or just find a more open-minded guy. Oral sex is pretty basic.

If anything it might make your vulva taste like the fragrance chemicals in the soap or body wash. Those things aren't recommended for vaginal health and aren't necessary to be clean. The vagina itself (which of course is internal) cleans itself.

So I guess psychologically relating the smell of “freshness” from the soap tricks the mind into thinking it tastes better? I’ve never actually experienced that. But being transparent, I enjoy the smell as long as it’s not overly strong and there’s good hygiene.
