Have you been into a sex shop to buy yourself toys if you don’t want to buy online? Have you been embarrassed?

I actually was in one over two months ago, and I wasn't so much embarrassed as much as I was overwhelmed by the sight of giant dildos and strange looking devices some looked like weapons too that I didn't know their function to. I was actually relieved when a nice female sales clerk asked me if I needed any help and what I was looking for and I immediately said "Anything rechargeable and under 6 inches." And she was very helpful and sweet so it turned out to be a pleasant experience.

One time was enough for me... it was more so by peer pressure. Those stores honestly disgust me. Im down to go to like an all lingerie store like VS to try on stuff, but passing sex toys, flavored condoms and tranny porn at a sex shop does not interest me at the least

Yes I have been into a sex shop my niece was actually a manager of one and I could get anything that I wanted for the price that they paid for it $100 item I could get for like $8 or 9 bucks and I got quite a few of them to practice on girls that's never even thought of using toys where I come from a lot of girls don't think that toys would be fun they are so wrong

It is not embarrassing at all. Sex is something natural, if you go into a sex shop or is obvious what kind of thing you want to look at and they offer it.
I went to one a couple of times and it was interesting. They even helped me choose a good lubricant among those they had and there was no difference to how you are treated on any other store.

I have been in one here in town a couple of times. No big deal. The only thing that I didn't like was that it is on a major avenue here and I was afraid someone who knows me would see me going in as they drive by... LOL Other than that I wasn't embarrassed at all.

Yes, it can be embarrassing, but you will be okay. The staff at most shops understand and are very helpful.

I've gone more than a few times. I've bought some toys online but find it better in a store so can get a better feel for the toy. When I've gone, have never been embarrassed. Find it fun - even asking the store workers questions about different toys. I think these days more so than say 20+ years ago, there isn't as much stigma and there are many pretty nice stores not seedy ones. If you haven't tried it, might be worth a go :)

Yep. No biggie.  Wife and I together for 25 years we decide to wander in and see if there's anything entertaining. She was embarrassed AF. LOL Dildos don't do much for marrieds.
