  • Absolutely not. They are men who think women need to take one for the team and have sex with them.

    Remember, an incel reasons like this.

    Women fall for jerks and have sex with them. Women let these men have their way with them and do whatever they like. But an incel, would be good to these women. He sees his goodness as a transaction. He is good to women, in return, they owe him sex. Because they give the sex to men who don't deserve it. . . because those men are not nice.

    And an incel tells himself this crazed insane story over and over again. It mutates and becomes bitter. So he starts see himself as this victim who is being persecuted by society for being a good guy. So they start to become anti-social and get radicalized in different ways.

    That's why so many of the dudes here are spiraling. They can't get outside of this story.

    An incel is a man who wants desperately to have a woman in his life. For whatever reason, he has been rejected by the female population as a collective. The incel cries himself to sleep because of the pain in his empty and perpetually broken heart. Depression is normal and suicide is common.
    Contrast that with the MGTOW, who has walked away from women and gone his own way, free of the extreme legal and financial dangers that are involved in interactions with females.
    Both are without women in their lives, but for the incel it is not his choice.

  • I had seen term/reference before but only learned about cels recently. I don't know if they take a vow of abstinence for a set period of time, if there is a minimum time of celibacy one needs to abstain or if it's supposed to be a lifetime like that. I have no idea why someone would do that but your theory is as good as any. If I have any facts incorrect or perhaps regardless, I'd love to hear a more complete description of what, why or anything else. I don't want to pass judgement on a group of people I don't know but if I have it correctly- celibate people who have deliberately chosen to be celibate and motives. I can't imagine doing that willingly. Maybe for a day

  • No. That's not true at all. If they wanted to be gay, they would have been gay already. Also, I think the term "incel" applies to men who are attracted to women and want to have relations with women. Therefore, they are heterosexual by definition.
