I used to, but even hugging is very uncomfortable for me, I got a hug from a friend recently who I hadn't seen in over a year and when she hugged me she said I seemed tense and I told her it made me feel uncomfortable which she took as in a gross way but I had to explain how it was hard to explain really, it's kind of like how hugs used to be warm and nice but now when someone hugs me it's like they are covered in spikes and only I can feel the spikes digging into my body. It's almost as if my body is now rejecting any sort of touch, I've never been good with PDA not that I've ever had a girlfriend or anything but has evolved into any form of touching. Maybe trauma from my past but who knows.

yes a good relationship requires a strong non-sexual physical connection. same with needing a strong emotional and mental connection. so quality time with your partner is ideal to build a deeper bond. it can also help to improve your sex life together as well.
